Wright or Harper could be used in a role like Adams particularly if we brought in an extra genuine mid (not accounting for other changes) ie. Greenwood, Anthony, Jacobs, Gysberts (I'm aware he's not on this list of selections). Jacobs in particular seems to play similar to Adams and could direct replace as a inside player that is also able to pot the scoreboard at times. Seems a good type.

I'd be happy with almost all of those ins to get a chance, not sure what the story is with Delaney though...

I'm a big Hansen fan but the one thing that worries me about him is how we play him in a wet grand final two years from now after he's been our AA CHB for two years running. He seems completely lost on a wet track...

Wright and Harper haven't been in the best form either so Im not sure I'd drop Adams for one of them to play his role. I've never seen Jacobs play as a high half forward but I doubt he'd be more affective then Adams at this stage, he has shown something at VFL level as an inside mid tho. If Harps was getting a kick and wood/garner were ready they'd be in the side by now. As it stands patch is our best option....

These were the only changes worth making, you could make the argument that Kennedy deserved McMahon's spot but we were probably a defender too many so bringing in an inside mid for the excess defender is great from a structural point of view. Greenwood also deserved a call up before Kennedy on form.

People might be unhappy that MacMillan, Adams, Wright are still in but what's the alternative? You get the feeling the club wants to develop Jacobs, McKenzie and Gysberts a bit more in the VFL, so why hinder this development to get a potential slight increase in production.

I'm completely over this now. Leaving macmillan and wright both in is simply not good enough. Another week another 1 change. Lucky north has reached a record number of members this year, because if BS keeps going the way he is and genuinely pissing off fans by playing below average players every week he won't get close to 35k members next year.

To be honest Id rather Wrights, Adam and MacMillans play then one of McKenzie, Delaney or Jacobs. Sure if a Kennedy or a Wood were shortlisted and not picked I would be ropeable but the changes are crap.

Firrito better then Kennedy
All of our inside mids better then Gysberts and Jacobs
and nobody in the VFL is even pushing for Wright's spot, Harper will once he is 100% but Garner is still a bit off physically

Don't mind the changes. I'm sure Kennedy will get a chance if we fall out of finals contention, it's somewhat justified not to debut him in our most important game for the year so far.

Anthony will make us a lot better, one of the few who will run and give options until the game is done. Good to see Greenwood back, should relish the conditions and fight until the end with his tank.

We'll win this. I'm sensing something.

No reason to persist with him. Doesn't find it enough for a player with his tank, not to mention his poor disposal. I don't think he's ever had 30 touches in the VFL and would probably have had over 25 once or twice.

BUT........

Adams confesses 3 weeks ago the team has carried him and keeps getting games.

2 changes for a side that has won 4 is a disgrace (1 forced).

I love brad but geeez I am hating this terrible reluctance to give the older guys a real kick in the arse.

IMO he continues to just take the "Safe" option & it's starting to wear very thin on supporters !!!

Well said. Surely jacobs and gys can play the role of wright, jmac and patch. Bon or Swallow even said its about structure and not personnel...and Jacobs had 11 tackles or something last weekend.

Who the **** is Taberner? A six-goal type like Kerridge?

Good to see Greenwood back in. Watched the game against Melbourne from a few years ago the other night and he was terrific, stunned at how quickly he just fell away.
