This. Our system is screwed.

Who the **** is Taberner? A six-goal type like Kerridge?

Good to see Greenwood back in. Watched the game against Melbourne from a few years ago the other night and he was terrific, stunned at how quickly he just fell away.

A KPF averaging 18 touches and 3 goals in his last 3 in the WAFL, much better form then any of our VFL stars who aren't getting a game

Lol, where the **** is the incentive to perform?

No incentive from the VFL players, because they don't get picked.

No pressure on the AFL players, because they don't get dropped.

Respect your opinion Pykie but I reckon there is plenty of pressure on the players. Not sure I really buy this line of thinking that the only incentive to performing is not getting dropped. It's just one thing in a big scheme of things. Players I'm sure have a pretty good idea where they stand and what they need to do regardless of whether they're dropped or not.

My issue is more so that the form players may not be playing. It's good to see Levi and Anthony in.

To be honest Id rather Wrights, Adam and MacMillans play then one of McKenzie, Delaney or Jacobs. Sure if a Kennedy or a Wood were shortlisted and not picked I would be ropeable but the changes are crap.

Exactly. There are no replacements for those guys that would fill the role as effectively. McKenzie is getting there though.

Greenwood should've been in as soon as Ziebell was out - better late than never, and hopefully he isn't dropped to make way for Ziebell. Anthony is another good in.

Should there have been more changes? Definitely a few players who need to step up in the side, but I don't know enough about how the other players are tracking in the VFL to know if they should be replaced. These are good changes, however.

How can Adams come out and admit to being carried and still be selected?

It's a circus down there.

That was after 7 rounds as well surely? His form lifted for a couple of weeks but it's not anywhere near it needs to be.

We are going to end up with a swag of 200 or 300+ game players the way we're going, and that's not a good thing. We have 16 players who have played every game I think, including the West Coast, Adelaide, Gold Coast, Sydney and Geelong games. Add to that McMahon who has only missed one game (Collingwood). McKenzie, Kennedy and Currie might not be the answer, but Wright, Bastinac and Firrito aren't either as they've shown time and time again this year. Yes, Bastinac is in that group.

My thoughts exactly.

I would be pretty disheartened if I was Kennedy, Mckenzie, Gysberts, Jacobs and Greenwood.

If I was wright, McMillan, Adams and co I would demand 800K a year on my next contract, because ya know its obvious how important they are to our structures even if they don't tackle or get their hands on the footy.

Because Greenwood is such a clearance machine? Contested ball winner? Very different players to state this.

I will be really happy if Greenwood and Anthony both have good games and can lower their vision. Unfortunately neither have shown in the last two years that they have the smarts to play at the top level. Not saying that Anthony can't get the ball or that Greenwood isn't tough but neither of them have deserved to stay in the team when they have been dropped. Both have been overlooked for long periods because they make crucial errors and we haven't seen that change after repeated opportunities.

He is just taking the piss now. I have had just about enough of his inflexibility when it comes to game style and selections. The definition of stupidity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Not sure I will even bother watching Sunday as I fear this could be another game lost at the selection table by playing players way out of form.

He's a tall forward, 197cm. Kicked 9 goals in 7 games for Peel Thunder this year. Ross Lyon obviously see's the need to be knocking the door down in the 2's. :silly look

I tell you what would be good! Jesse smith with 100+ games under his belt helping wells with outside run and class. We missed a gem in this bloke :( he is our cotchin, if he didn't have a crap ankle we could be a completely different team.

I think Greenwood has deserved the call-up, should have come in as soon as Ziebell got suspended imo and given 3 weeks to have a decent crack, Ziebell comes back next week so we have blown the chance to give him a bit of a go.

Sadly, Anthony is probably in our best side because our outside mids are dysfunctional, but I would have one of him or Gibson, it is going to be long-blind-bombzilla out there with both and that plays into Lyon football, I am also not expecting a whole lot of defensive pressure going the other way.

I would have played Jacobs and Gysberts ahead of MacMillan and Adams. With two extra mids I would play Harvey up forward and tell him to get front and square, he is likely going to get tagged if he gets anywhere close to the midfield.

Since Scott refuses to drop under performing players then if we lose its on his shoulders since he chooses to protect them. Good luck Scott.

Good ins. Levi Finally breaks in to Brad Scotts "invincibles". LA should have never been demoted in the first place.

Car Keys gets the token weekly consolation inclusion.

B-Mac and BJ are presently getting elevated above blokes who deserve the spot more. I would lean to playing BJ.

I hope they pack an emergency as well.

You'd think BJ will travel just in case it's wet.

If it is wet who would u drop? I think I'd give Hansen the nod over Grima to be honest.

Interesting question.

Hansen in better form but Grima is the better one on one defender. Not sure the wet suits Hansens marking game.

The GC game showed Hansen is no good in the wet, marking is his strong point. Grima is a better one on one defender, he done ok against the suns with his spoiling etc. So if it does rain Grima >>>> Hansen all day.
