If you look at the % of your posting content, you have had unusually high amount of comments about our 2nd ruckman!

We must get the balance of our side right, particularly our anemic forward line. If that means dropping JJ, finding a 2nd ruckman will happen & is of far less of a concern. Keeping JJ solely on the basis he is the 2nd ruckman is crazy talk.
Aren’t you concerned about the delivery to the forwards?
It’s been woeful since round one.
The disconnect is the biggest worry.

I think it was On the Couch on Monday, they showed Tom Lynch from Richmond, at a stage when Richmond were having trouble getting the ball beyond the centreline.

He took it upon himself to bust his arse and start working up around the wings, took a couple of strong marks, and opened play up again for his team.

Jenkins (and Walker, to a lesser extent) need to adopt this approach - if it is too hard and not working, the onus is on them to get involved and make it work - not spit the dummy and refuse to work harder.
This is such a good post

Yes, that's my point!!

I'm more worried about our forward line kicking a winning score than who our 2nd ruckman will be.

You sure you are quoting the right person?

He not good enough to replace one of the talls at this time, if they want to head back to our forward line of 2017 when we were kicking Goals and winning then we add the McGovern type Player, That gave a 3 prong Tall Forward Line with Lynch playing more running Flanker,
Our Smalls are not helping the ball being run out of defense and they are not scoring goals,
Play JJ Walker and Fograty with Stengle and Betts,

Have thought it thru, and it not perfect but better than some of the other option being branded about.
Yes our Mids and smalls will have to work harder but maybe that what we need. We need scoring options and ball movement, Changing the deck chair will not achieve that Therefor we need to change the structure.

JJ for Fogarty/Himmelberg is changing deck chairs and will not improve the Crows. In fact against the GC rucks could cost us.
Failing that we need to change how we are getting the ball into the 50 which still means Knight, Murthy either lifting their game and hitting targets not contests and scoring goals or playing SANFL.

But that only comes after we put some work into Ball movement out of defence, Otten for Hartigan, Gibbs For MacKay, Gallucci for Jones,
Stengle in for Murthy/Knight, Then we should look at changing the mix with an extra tall.

Oh and Greenwood in is a given, for either Pohokle or CEY, CEY stays if they Drop Knight

So yes I have thought it thru.
You have it seems but your conclusion is a bad one

Probably,
All I’ve seen is forwards that lead when there’s gonna be a deeper entry and vice versa.
The level of disconnect is awful.
Do our line coaches converse with each other in real time or is it a laptop email during the game.?

The whole team is disconnected!

I thought this was Campo's new role looking at the overall.

As much I'd like to see JJ dropped I'm leaning toward Lynch getting the axe. Unfortunately we need JJ for ruck relief and he can play further up the ground. (As far away from goals as possible). Bring in The Fog and plunk him at FF.
Murphy goes out for Stengle and perhaps McHenry for Jones.
Tell Betts to follow Fog around the forward line and grab the crumbs that Fog doesn't take. We know at least Fog will create a contest not like "powderpuff JJ".
I expect very little of this to actually eventuate but that's my wish list ........ maybe I'll text Pyke with this.......anybody got his number????

And with dragging out the oppositions taller defenders maybe we could have some pace running into the attacking space .
Our gameplan and structures do not suit our team makeup - all three of these need a compete overhaul

When it’s 6/6/6 it should be more Mano e Mano yet infuriatingly we still zone and grass guard. We don’t pressure ball carriers. We corale them. And then they still get a possession upfield through a lazy defensive act.
We’re wasting time hanging off.

So from the names mentioned in media, sounds like Stengle, Greenwood, Otten, Fogarty...... I'd be happy for those guys to come in for Jenkins, Murphy, Poholke and Harto.

Prefer Poholke to stay in over Knight. Giving a fella a game, then flipping him straight back is counterproductive.

Tex on the news saying there could be changes but he would like to think we will back in our experienced players...

Because he knows he's in the gun.

Also, Brad Crouch said there's likely to be 3 or so.

If he plays again he has to play midfield, not the half forward graveyard.
Yeah he can’t do that.
If his rotation is forward then he has scoreboard from SANFL

Read Just read my posts, I have been Banging about the shit ball into our forward Line more, nearly every post, Ball Movement or lack of in regard to the Forwards. And Yet most are banging on about replacing JJ, even you, from the start.
And Yes against GC I am worried about going into the game with a short or weak backup ruck, it a must-win game and I don't want to give them any advantages,
Again in case, you miss my previous post
We have bigger issue's to fix than replacing JJ, Like Ball Movement contested Possession, getting the ball into our forward line cleaner. or base on last week just getting the ball into the forward line would be a start.
You are missing the point (again)

Its not the ball movement, its not the midfield, its JJs pathetic lack of effort that is behind the calls for him to be dropped

He is playing like he doesnt care because he thinks he wont be dropped.

I don't know whether he does think that you know, in fact I reckon he knows it's close.
