Harsh on Jones as that was his last act in the game due to concussion.


Yes North can argue the same thing, they should have won by 10 to 15 goals.

There is probably 1000 examples of teams kicking poorly and the opposition undeservingly beating them as a result.

Score-wise, we should be in that up to our eyeballs in the last quarter, but anyone watching the game knew we had no momentum/confidence at all. And all those easy missed goals just doubled down on that!

In any case, his misses weren't an example of him being "out of form" - they were an example of lairising, and murdering the ball because he wasn't paying enough attention to what he was doing.

Compare that to Eddie's goal from the boundary. He looked as focussed as I've ever seen him when he was lining up.

Imagine if we lived in a world where Sauce had to earn his spot and ROB could continue. I think his game was so much better this week than last and would love to see where that week on improvement could get him to.

People miss goals, and thats a part of footy, but for me Jenkins 2 key misses on the weekend just show how out of form he really is!

1st quarter, 20m out, set shot from almost directly in front.
4th quarter, 3 meters out, snap shot that is actually harder to miss then kick.

With this in mind it just makes the 12 point losing margin was this weekend even more sour.

For all his endurance and supposed athleticism, when have you seen ROB in the last 2 games outside of kick-ins and ball ups? Almost never right? The guy is a non factor around the grounds. Which sucks because I was so hopeful that he could provide that element better then Sauce could at this stage in his career.

So far though he's just an old school tap ruckman, and not a very good one!

For all his endurance and supposed athleticism, when have you seen ROB in the last 2 games outside of kick-ins and ball ups? Almost never right? The guy is a non factor around the grounds. Per the telstra tracker O'Brien had the 5th average running speed on the ground for the entire game. So he's running, but where? Could be down to in experience but we'll probably never find out as Sauce will be rushed back against the Suns.

Either running to all the wrong positions, or the players have no confidence to kick it too him!

I disagree with that, where do you suppose he gathered his 16 disposals, 6 marks and 5 tackles if he was just lumbering around? went at 85% DE as well. 5 of his marks were uncontested.

I'd rather play CEY as a backup ruck than keep Jenkins in the side. While he's been a bit unfairly maligned in the past, his efforts so far this year warrant at least a month in the SANFL. Probably two months if we're being serious.

Yes too all, but also yes on JJ, and at this stage I don't care if we lose our 2nd ruck if it means getting JJ out of the team! He is just a bad ruck, provides no spark to his teammates, and is not providing anything as a forward!

Himmelberg, Davis, Sholl, Gooch, McHenry, take your pick, i'd rather have any of them in the team then f__king useless ass JJ!

And Yet JJ who had a Defender on him most of the Night station in a Forward Line that received crap ball if any, Was equal in most and better in some of the key stats, Than a run with midfielder.
We should be realistic about who replaces who.
