Tex is nowhere near in the gun. He's co- captain and runs a hotel with Roo, which incidentally is where he gave the interview from.

He's untouchable and he knows it.
A flag is untouchable as well with this bullshit.

How do we maintain a backline with 3 horrible exponents of disposal? Kelly, Hartigan and Talia are as untrustworthy with the ball as anyone is.
We cannot continue with all 3. I'd rather Otten for Hartigan and Scholl for Kelly. This gives us a bit more surety with the ball. What Otten lacks in speed he makes up in intelligence and sometimes that matters more.

Crows ruckman Sam Jacobs says he will find out on Thursday if he needs surgery on his injured knee

Star Adelaide ruckman Sam Jacobs could be sidelined for two months.
The Crows ironman, who had played 53 consecutive games and 181 of a possible 185 before missing the round three clash against Geelong, faces the prospect of surgery on his battle-scarred right knee.

An operation to repair damaged meniscus would keep him out of action for between four and eight weeks.

Jacobs’ other option is to simply rest the injury — which has already ruled him out for a third consecutive game, Sunday’s must-win home clash against Gold Coast — and hope it heals.

But that would make him a week-by-week proposition for the rest of the season.

Jacobs is expected to make a decision on the best course of treatment by Thursday.

“We’re in the process of flushing out the next course of action, how the injury looks going forward,’’ Jacobs told The Advertiser.

Can we stop this rubbish about the importance of the 2nd ruck. They are only there to give the other ruck a decent rest. Nothing more nothing less. If they manage to win some taps great

In any sport you recognise your opposition and instruct on circumstances

Sandilands , Grundy and Gawn rucking? Start your set ups in the defensive position. With 2MPeter Our ruck coach and midfield coach should be doing all they can to negate any benefit the opposition get.

Its called coaching, its what people get paid for

Yes and while we are at it can we stop this rubbish about JJ as well? and actually, fix the bigger Issues first, like Ball movement.
But if your right then why have we not been doing it, why
Also If we can get an advantage shouldn't we look for it, GC back up ruck is below average in the middle,
I started this shit because I got sick of ready all this crap about how shit our forwards are. then talking about Swapping this player with Player with no regard to any form in the SANFL, Actually believing that a 192cm player will go OK in centre under 6-6-6 rules.

Yea I will stop,

Well you can start by getting into decent shape Josh Jenkins

You can try to turn things around by putting in a decent contest Josh Jenkins

You can try by putting in consistent effort Josh Jenkins

You can try by looking like you give a **** Josh Jenkins

You can start by letting actions speak over words Josh Jenkins

C'mon Ham Hands , lay off the KFC and Pre Mixers , drop 4-5 kilos and play like you are being paid 500K + per year
Where on earth are you getting the drinking of Pre Mixers from? He wife gave birth late last year, I'd be surprised if he's sitting in a car skulling Cruisers...

,
JJ is soft and his effort on the weekend was disgraceful, any coach worth his paypacket would drop him quicker than Tay tay drops boyfriends

Not trusting youth seems to be the common theme down there. Strange statement coming from a captain. I would prefer to hear "If your not in form you don't deserve a spot" but when you are one of the players out of form yourself perhaps that is why we didn't hear this. Our club painfully struggles to drop players if the player has racked up a certain amount of games. Strangely other clubs don't.

Very concerning that everybody seems to have a different opinion on what the hell we're doing.

Fog is definitely not out of favour. He’s being played in defence now to get him to an AFL standard towards the back end of the year. The most important time of the year.

It’s as clear as day that’s what the club is doing and it could pay great dividends if Fog clicks and excels.

That just sounds counter productive. Never played mods in the back lines ... Oh wait that happened once

If this is true, what the hell are they doing during the pre season?

I don't know whether he does think that you know, in fact I reckon he knows it's close.
Josh Jenkins loves out running any ****er back for the lay up.
Can anyone get this through their head.

In all seriousness I'd leave him out.

I wouldn't.

Right now, it's worthwhile treating this season as a dead seeing it's both in a hole, and oh boy, our side looks absolutely broken. So we may as well pump as many games as possible in Chayce as a means to try to speed up that development as much as possible. It's not like we're 3-1 and looking like we're living up to that bounce back tag where dropping a youth who isn't putting it together may be a good thing for a small period of time.

The only way you could potentially convince me otherwise would be playing him as a full time midfielder in the SANFL for a month or so as to try to set him up to be ready (or as close to as possible) to a full time midfielder by the start of next season. Even then, surviving a full season at an AFL level would teach him just as much, if not more for that.

Agreed. Make it so.
Hartigan isn’t up to it. Jelly is. He runs the triangle pattern way better.

I don't really care, as I'm glad to see ROB getting a game, but, once again - if this is an existing issue, why didn't he have surgery in the off-season?

He's buggered from Round 2, after the full pre-season; wtf?
Long service leave entitlement before the next election 🤪
