Sounds like the changes have come this week with another "big name" out of the side.
GROTTO made the good point that JJ should go, because
--- he's been a soft, ineffective (boiled, = soft ;)) spud and
--- it's going to be wet.
We need Gibbs, Gallucci AND Greenwood (great hands, any conditions) as Ins. Maybe Stengle too!
Outs: Jones (conc., rested), JJ, Poholke (unlucky) and Hartigan.

I'm not sure it's going to be that wet really.

If I was in charge, I think we need more speed and people who can take the game on while allowing our best inside mids to spend most of their time there

Out: Jenkins (needs to make more of a contest), Polholke (balance), CEY (balance), Kelly (balance), Murphy (impact) Jones (inj)
In: Himmelberg, Stengle, Gibbs, Greenwood, Gallucci, Scholl

Hope Stengle plays, suggest he won't.
Not so sure about that, the fact Jones has now been removed from the squad makes me think Jones was playing. Which means Galluci must have been an in for Murphy. Now they could just keep Murphy in but why add to the squad? It’s going to be trimmed in a few hours anyway, I reckon Stengle is in.

Stengle - Jones
Galluci - Murphy
Himmelberg - Jenkins
Greenwood - Pohokle
Gibbs - CEY or left field for Hartigan and Gibbs plays defence

I like these changes!

Would be an ideal setup and a much more exciting one.

Jones a definite out, Stengle a definite in to the squad.

MIDFIELDER Anthony Miles has been ruled out of Gold Coast's Sunday clash with Adelaide due to injury, while the Crows have lost first-year player Chayce Jones.

The former Tiger and Giant has been replaced in the 26-man Suns squad by Brad Scheer.

Former Richmond forward Tyson Stengle has been added to the Adelaide squad. It would be his debut for the Crows if he makes the final side, after two games with the Tigers.

I still havent recovered from Murphy nor forgiven running down the wing and failing to correctly bounce the ball, FFS I havent seen a player in good conditions do that this year. Whats probably more unforgivable though is that his technique of bouncing the ball looks awful. The kid made some terrible clangers last Saturday.

He is a midfielder, last week we almost exclusively played him at Half Forward.... no wonder why he struggled.

Not only that, but Poholke has no business being a half forward. Way too slow.

Yep, I still think this season is salvage if they get the mix right. Murphy isn’t a scoring threat, Stengle is, we badly need that.

Himmelberg might not dominate but he’ll provide a contest which we are badly lacking, which will help our smalls.

Gibbs instead of Hartigan provides more run and better disposal

Out JJ, Jones, Murphy, CEY, David

in Berg, galluci, stengle, Greenwood, Gibbs

Very doubtful we make 5 changes though

Had plenty of goes at afl and never seems to produce a good game apart from pre season stuff and sanfl games. What makes me laugh is the club playing Fog in backlines. He's a forward imo.

His getting into the team is a great story but I’m afraid his time is coming to an end. Just doesn’t offer enough

This is gearing up to be our first ever week of good changes

Of course, you can only make good changes when you've picked a shit team the week before so it tempers the excitement a tad.

But only a tad :)

Poholke is not "way too slow" to play half forward or any other position for that matter. He might have some faults but he IS NOT slow.

Someone with his limited talent level is never going to be played in the midfield at AFL level. Not even for a bottom 4 side.

In actual fact, he spent a lot of time up forward as a junior and it was one of the reasons we drafted him.

Would drop Hartigan as well.

There isn't a forward line spot for him in the near future without doing some serious harm to us (seeing we've overinvested in our tall forwards). Unfortunately by that, developing him as a forward is just wasting our time seeing we need to be in a position to develop Fogarty in our AFL side that isn't totally injury reliant for the next couple of years.
