Very surprised to see McKernan's name being mentioned as a likely inclusion such a short time after having his jawbone fractured. Would rather play Jacobs than McKernan.. but McKernan well ahead of Jenkins (assuming McK is recovered).
desperate times Vader... And if Sauce is only a minor strain, then no point in blowing it out to a full 4 weeks against a team with no real ruck.

Hate to say it but Smack is much more expendable.

It's an interesting question. If it's to replace Jacobs, I'd take McKernan. If it's to be that second ruck/tall forward, I'd take Jenkins.

I know walkers coming in but if Jacobs misses then we need both of them to come in to keep sandos preferred structure.

Watching the Hawks vs Bombers game, with the Bombers being demolished in the first quarter. Makes you wonder how much of a "return to form" that so many footy experts have been talking about when discussing the form of The Cats. Especially when you consider how much trouble they had putting away both GCFC and The Power, perhaps they were flat track bullies last week against a weakened Essendon.

Well, one can hope this was the case.

Hmm nah.

We played 4 high pressure quarters for the first time and I noticed we were playing a different gameplan to the one we've been playing all year. Our pressure was unbelievable (especially in that first quarter), so I think we've made improvements.

If we were playing as we were prior to that game, we should have lost by 20

I don't think you can dismiss it that easily. Essendon have obviously hit the wall - injuries have finally caught up with them and the blokes who have carried them are looking tired. Got destroyed last night and last week. Barely beat Port Adelaide. Form against them at present is misleading.

We barely beat Port Adelaide without any of their leadership group and 2 more of their best 22. We won by 43. They had most of those players in v the Bombers and they won by 50.

Trust me when I say, we have improved. I actually support Geelong, I would know it just as well

I know this is a danger game and I should be nervous but I just have a really good feeling that we will bring our A game today and Geelong wont be able to keep up.

Looking forward to settling in and watching the following today:

-Tex, jagging goals and dominating.
-Rutten giving his usual bath to Hawkins.
-Having a sip of beer everytime Derwayne says 'Stevie J!'
-Sloane/Danger/Thommo putting on a roving clinic.
-Douglas/Vince keeping the skis on.

Anyone believe Bicks about the emergencies? Just in case of someone getting the sniffles, huh? Think we might have a concern or two.

Definitely going to be wet weather footy. Been caning down all day in Melbourne. Forecast is for more over the weekend and Geelong is not noted for producing more clement conditions than up the highway...

And at the moment there are no stands protecting that shithole they call a football ground.

That's it guys, he is actually a Geelong supporter so he would know. Guess there's no point watching the game now...
Calm ya buns

Oh c'mon.... This wounded warrior
bullshit has gone on long enough.

You're the short priced favourites.
We shouldn't be. Think you guys will come out all guns blazing, though I hope otherwise

Slippery Pete, its actually a very good ground surface and good ground to watch football from if you can get into the grandstands.

You can be very close to the play.

The wind is an issue without the stands though - and will make it a very tough game in which to play.

The fact that it has 30000 rabid screaming CATs fans make it a real cauldron and make it the ground with probably the biggest home team advantage.

There are few places for opposition fans to watch the game.

Very few Crow supporters will be able to get there to see ther match.
