I wouldn't be so confident. Bailey and Adams have both been very poor since returning from covid.

We don't want to leave anything to chance and making minor sacrifices could be the difference
Thanks for the reply, I will leave my Covid thoughts to The Den from now on.

He can only play 15 minutes though before completely gassing out.
Agree, at the game live it stuck out likes dogs testicles, he is another slow on turnover player and incapable of repeat efforts, we have too many of them already to play another one regularly.

In:
Andrews, Coleman, J Berry, Prior, Ah Chee, Mathieson, McStay

Out:
Tunstill, Sharp, Cockatoo, Fullarton, Lester, Lyons, Hipwood

Doubt Rich or Zorks get up and Answerth will still be H&SP.

At some point Lyons lack of defensive work rate will need to see him have a spell, he can win clearances yes but he's so bad going the other way that he very rarely wins his match up because his opponents disposals are far more damaging.

Forward structure worked better early in the year with the Daniher, McStay and resting ruck structure, keen to get back to that. Really like Hippy but his form doesn't warrant selection right now.

Cockatoo had 8 tackles, next closest was 3.

Yes - they were talking about in on 360 - saw it on YouTube a short time ago

We can only hope for Gerard that his Geelong have 9 outs before a big game and then watch him play the mental gymnastics.

Lions will want to come out snorting fire against GWS before they have the Q clash the following week

Hopefully get a few back but depth will be stretched as VFL team play same day but lunchtime kick off in Blacktown whilst Lions play 1.30pm at Manuka so a few of the top up players might be needed to fill the VFL team

How Dev hasn't gotten a game is beyond me.

Need to run someone with Kelly or Coniglio as they'll run DeBoer (if he clears concussion protocols) on Neale

Kennedy and Davis out will stretch their defence - Lions talls need to chomp on the bit show some aggression and fierceness at the contest. Aleer will probably come in for Davis - Hopper will be a welcome return for the Giants and Riccardi, O'Halloran and Sproule surely a chance for a recall.

It'll be 0 or below the night before and usually windy as heck at Manuka so play smart footy - work hard and kick straight!!!!!!!!

Sounds like we're going to get to WCE type outs. Even more reason why the Bombers loss was a massive missed opportunity.

Surely the club considers getting everyone out of QLD soon and head to Canberra early.

Talk also of Fagan and Whiting getting physical - not sure I'm buying that but apparently heated words by Fagan for Fish labelling our effort 'sub-par' - not sure how Fagan has taken issue with that when it clearly was.

Big O now has Covid :(

Big O won't be the last.

Re covid recovery - in our circle ongoing fatigue had been an issue for a few weeks. Doing everyday stuff is ok, but as soon as anyone puts in a decent training or game effort , they are wiped out for a few days. And the effort is below par.

Can see us sliding out of the eight unless other teams face the same.

Anyone thinking of placing a bet, hold your money. It's about to get crazy.

wheres the news on latest covid outs?
The footy show on 9 - the Lions were the lead story for about the first 7-8 minutes and copped a hiding, including Fagan, Daniher and Neale.

This graphic caught my eye which i photographed which really shows how poor we have been and which i think the club is refusing to address or that the players are flat track bullies.

Watched it, would normally say nothing to see here (and don't think it is very serious) but can't imagine a scenario where it is reasonable to blow up at Fish.
Will be interesting to hear what Fish has to say on the Roar Deal this week about it

Particulalry if Fagan blew up over the bit FC highlighted that is, our performance was sub-par. I don't know who to believe here, but surely Fagan cant be that sensitive if he cant own that sort of criticism about his team.

Further to that, I think Fagan knows the club blew its opportuity when in the window and its all but gone now which really is on the back of a lot of his decisions and or assistants and there inability to get the best out of the group. Not saying others could have but perhaps the realisation is setting in.

I have hated the delight in our situation that the likes of Whately and Lloyd on the various programs tonight are revelling in.

Presumably absolutely nothing given its a club podcast that the club edits and puts out lol.
True. Hopefully the club can get back on track soon, otherwise this season could become a complete trainwreck for us.

I genuinely worry about some people who post on here after losses, a couple of wins in a row would be nice to calm things a bit.

A couple of wins would probably help calm down some people at the footy club as well mind you ;)
