Sub: o’meara
or Davies?I don’t think we have enough mids in the team to use one as sub now Banfield is probably playing mostly forward tbh.
It’ll be either Worner or Aish - and I think we all know it probably won’t be Aish.
Sliding doors;
If Fremantle can get Fredericks and Sturt firing on all cylinders then….
A deep September run is on the cards
Aishy when he puts in a shocker like last week is virtually useless, appears to be just not interested but i guess has somes runs on the board , if he plays like that again on Sunday the fans will be on the war path for his headI don’t think we have enough mids in the team to use one as sub now Banfield is probably playing mostly forward tbh.

Not to mention Josh Treacy. I've always been more confident in him kicking for goal than Amiss. But wtf was that last week?I would add a 3rd conditional being Amiss finding his goal kicking accuracy again.
Thanks guys - if anything I'm just pissed we finally have our first home game in a month and I'll be missing it.

For Treacy it was one game. Amiss has always looked dodgy to me, Not saying he's not been an accurate shot.Treacy took a long time to bring his confidence from the WAFL to the big time and he completely fell apart mentally last week in front of goals. JL said he gets a mulligan so we’ll see. Amiss has full blown yips.
Most forwards go through it. Look at McKay this year. Couldn’t hit the side of a barn last season.
Even last season he was statistically a poorer set shot than expected for the shots he took. For Treacy it was one game. Amiss has always looked dodgy to me, Not saying he's not been an accurate shot.
I think the whole Nev thing killed him. Just asking for trouble.
He's not going to be a long kick with that lack of momentum.Even last season he was statistically a poorer set shot than expected for the shots he took.
He's had a huge amount of shots lately from 40 metres out which seems to be his weakness.
He hasn't missed too many from sub 30 out.
Oh completely agree - so the question becomes does he really have the yips then? Seems more like a technique and volume of shots issue to me.He's not going to be a long kick with that lack of momentum.
He's got the yips alright.Oh completely agree - so the question becomes does he really have the yips then? Seems more like a technique and volume of shots issue to me.
It's both.Oh completely agree - so the question becomes does he really have the yips then? Seems more like a technique and volume of shots issue to me.
When he’s missing from 25 out as well, he’s got the yipsOh completely agree - so the question becomes does he really have the yips then? Seems more like a technique and volume of shots issue to me.
Why not? Carlton play three - Cripps, Hewett and Kennedy and they are all slow, big bodied midfielders. Seems to work ok for themWe can't play fyfe and brodie in the same side. Can't carry two defensive passengers in the midfield.
No our coaches don't pick him so it can't be a good idea apparently. Why not? Carlton play three - Cripps, Hewett and Kennedy and they are all slow, big bodied midfielders. Seems to work ok for them

Must suck for the guys playing at Peel putting in massive effort to watch Freo get pantsed by a team outside of the top 8 by 67 points and see no changes.
There seems to be no accountability at the selection table. How Jeremy Sharp can run 16km for only 4 touches is ridiculous. Either he was useless or he wasn't being fed by the midfield (which is what happened). No midfield changes.
We lose Walters as a small forward and replace him with.... a backman?
Baffling.
What a load of bollocks. Ladder position does not necessarily indicate how good a team actually is. There are few teams currently in the eight that are not playing top eight football, with Geelong leading that list. Then you have two teams outside the eight playing top four football in Brisbane and the Dogs. Both those teams have turned their seasons around and are now rated as two of the current best three in the comp. You're getting fooled by their ladder position. The dogs massively underperformed to start the season and you've failed to update expectations as they've figured out how to play well again. It's no surprise that both of those teams are recent grand finalists.Must suck for the guys playing at Peel putting in massive effort to watch Freo get pantsed by a team outside of the top 8 by 67 points and see no changes.

Not sure about that...seeing Aish on the bench, which we hardly ever see and JOM back there again does probably put them on noticeIt doesn't put players on notice
There needs to be a consequence for playing poorly
Some players may as well l9ok elsewhere who could be better and overtime improve our best 22
