Changes v Gold Coast

We have Adelaide and St Kilda in the last 2 rounds but need to firm everything up in the last 2 rounds. I feel this week is our best opportunity to give somebody a game/rest somebody etc.

Do we give Newman or Lamb a go in Hills spot? His defensive pressure has gone down and has been sore.

Do we bring back Butler or see how McInnes would go down back?

Do we give players that may not be on the list in future at current rate and deserving a spot just a crack Karpany or whomever.

Essentially we don't need to make any of these changes but if we want a closer look at our options this week would be it

Any chance Lamby could make it back into the team this year?

4 goal on return after lengthy time off! Just shows how talented he is!

Wouldn't think so. Sounds like Newman was close to playing last week and the fact that the 4 goals came in a drubbing probably takes some gloss off it. If Hill is out you would think Newman gets a game.

seriously??? on what basis?? or you just usually just worried before any game???
Just a shit feeling.

Boys been up and about for a while, see the GCS team without it's topline midfield stars and relax a little....

A GCS win for the ages.

If he keeps up his form i could see us maybe resting Darling for the Saints game ( With Darling not having a full pre-season he might need a quick rest before finals)

just some food for thought. What happens when GOV and Schoey are in the team. Do we use Barras and play the Gov as a swing man or give Gove the freedom to play the loose man to even greater effect?

I think its valid if we are a lock in for top 2, we must rest Darling, Natanui, Gov and Kennedy. That's a big IF though.

I don't think three talls is good for a defence whose strength is its mobility (and fitness of which at this stage I assume Barrass is a weak link).

The question is who would McGovern replace up forward? The only possible option I can imagine is Hill's spot, which leaves us short of a genuine crumbing option.

I really like Barrass and am looking forward to seeing him play for us but at this stage I think it's back to WAFL when McGofield is back.
