Moore today - 22 possessions, 6 clearances, 4 inside 50's and 3 goals
Be a chance to replace Mitchelle I reckon
Sammy C had a pretty good game too

If Hartlett requires shoulder surgery, send him off for that ASAP. Either Moore or Young to come into the side, if that is the case. Would lean towards Moore because I think he's in danger of being delisted and deserves one last shot to show his worth.

Other than that, I'd probably bring Amon in for Mitchell. Quite simply because I think Amon has a future at AFL level, and I think Mitchell doesn't.

Getting excited over Moore's numbers in an SANFL game is like taking a piss into a stiff breeze ie. not advisable.

I would like to see Mitchell drop back to the Maggies, his run and carry could be very valuable in the sanfl finals.
Not sure who I would replace him with at this stage though.

I hope Clurey stays with the Maggies for the finals because he needs to get his act together at that level first.
He lost his man too easily again yesterday, including one absolutely baffling decision in the 2nd term to leave his opponent ( Eddy ) when south had control of the ball coming down the outer wing towards the members' end.

Eddy lead to the Scott building pocket with no opponent in the same post code, and the Hoon who was giving away about 15 cm and well over 20 kgs had to run about 20 metres to attempt a spoil, which was obviously unsuccessful.

Pretty much in a half of football if I recall properly.

Big issue, translating SANFL form. Playing Gray in position has made him. Play Moore the same and see what we get.

I agree but tell us what Moore's natural position is? His best form at North was as a defensive on baller type. Sam Gray was always a dead set midfielder but I struggle to know what position suits Moore. Is he an on baller, midfielder or defender?

I was impressed with Amon's game yesterday and would like to see him get a couple of games before the break so that he goes into the off season with plenty of confidence. Mitchell out for Amon.

Mitchell for Amon the only change I'd make if no one is injured or sent in for surgery. The last 2-3 weeks we've backed in Ah Chee and Sam Gray (as a midfielder not a fraking small forward) and its paid dividends for shortfalls in our midfield for 2016. Clurey has had games and it's helped with our depth if required down back. We've seen how having a pack smasher in Butcher up forward the last two has helped our forward entries immeasurably.

The one remaining one we need to get out of the last two games is our outside fast midfielder depth. We've all seen how much missing Polec almost all year, along with White out or playing injured most of it. Our gameplan needs those fast outside players to work at its best. Get games into Amon so next year we hopefully have at least two of Anon, White and Polec available every game, with Amon not so raw, so we don't risk 2016 going pear shaped so quickly if one or both of Polec/White is unavailable.

yeah I'm happy for us to go unchanged if that is the way hinkley wants to go but really i think long term mitchell doesn't have a spot going forward , has not progressed this year , and he keeps dominating snaffle , getting called up to afl where he just does ok on his best day but most often just makes up the numbers.

if instead we can get games into a young kid like amon , young , hoon or moore i would rather we did that..

Mitchell for Amon the only change I'd make .....
Amon's doing well but I'm wondering if team balance is a problem - he's fundamentally just another small forward. Mitchell (and a couple of others) get in and under at clearances which seems to be the focus.

Not sure if I'd replace anyone. Moore played a good game and kicked 3 goals but he was off for a large part of the second half with an ankle injury.

Colquhoun did OK but I can't see who he'd replace except Mitchell, and I don't think Colquhoun is the type of player who can add much in the sub role.
