Waterman is a very average field kick you have to admit. Just look at his highlights package against GC. Fair enough he had over 20 touches but the disposal was poor

I know he hasn't been but I actually hope O Allen plays Waterman's role, with Vardy replacing McInnes and Gov back. Swing Gov forward if the need arises but return to our normal structure now we have a target up forward.

I think Oscar looks like a natural forward, but hard to see him play that role after playing down back all year.

Probably the right call on Waterman. He has been good this year for a first season forward but his last handful of games lacked impact. I wouldn't say he needs a rest but maybe a reset in the wafl.

Let's not kid ourselves that this is a huge upgrade, or any upgrade for that matter unless Vardy has been picked for some ruck time. Otherwise he's just a different face to Fraser.

Good changes IMO. Waterman looked spent last weekend both physically and mentally. Have a well deserved break
