-Jetta can't/refuses to tackle and has been pretty shite for a few games now, should definitely be getting on thin ice

-Thought Masten and Ainsworth played alright, not sure about bringing Sheed in yet...

-Rioli/Ryan/McInness/Ah chee will all face pressure once JK/jd/lecras and Venables are fit.

-I think Petrucelle showed enough in his first couple of games to come back into the side...apply some forward half pressure
Masten and Hutchings played OK in different ways but they are both huge momentum killers...stop..wait ..kick... repeat

The important thing is we sort out our KPP because its killing our structure. Whether its Barrass back in or putting Vardy up front now he is fit. Yeo needs to stay in the middle no matter what happens.
I actually cant get a handle on our match committee. There were comments on here (and by Simpson) that players like the 2 Allens and Brander deserved a chance but it was difficult for them to come in due to the quality of forwards in Darling and Kennedy. We then have injuries so we give Brander 1 game against Sydney in Sydney (tough assignment) and put McInnes in who has been reasonable at AFL level as an undersized ruckman. Surely it was a chance to give M Allen a go as he is a big guy with some pace and can kick a goal. Doesn't matter if we lost as we were always going to anyway with McInnes as a forward.

He wouldnt be injured as in seriously but is probably carrying some sort of soreness as players often do.
Both Bellchambers and Jacobs have worked out how to play him, around the ground at least. They just grapple and stop him jumping. He still wins his share in the centre but not as dominant and the mids simply aren't getting it

IN Kennedy, Petruccelle, Sheed, Vardy, Venables
OUT Mcinnes, Cripps, Masten, Hutchings, Waterman,
Has there been a week you’ve not had Waterman out??

Which makes me ask the question is he medically fit or has he just lost his mojo since being suspended. There's something wrong as he doesn't seem right.
Iirc he missed the whole of last season with an acl . in light of this, his start to this season exceeded expectations, fingers crossed it all clicks for the big fella because we are rooted without him.

Jetta has gone 16, 23,12, 17 (miss 4 games with calf injury), 14, 12, 18, 13, 19,13. Even though I think his performances have been average, his numbers are OK. IMO he doesn't give us enough rebound of half back. I get the feeling they won't drop him regardless.

So, changes:

OUT: Ainsworth, Ryan
IN: Sheed, Petruccelle/Venables.

Ainsworth unlucky - showed composure and that he can play at this level. Makes way for a more seasoned player in Sheed. I would be inclined to leave Ryan in but am persuaded by those at the game that said his work rate isn't up to scratch. If Pet/Venners ready, they should get an opportunity.

I love the facts that many of you don't even watch EP and say bring in Nelson he can't get a kick in the WAFL not that numbers are everything , the fact he is continually beaten and then shows his toughness by grappling after having his pants pulled down
Sheed was superb but don't bring him in. No clue

Masten was one of our better players against the Crows.
Hungrytiger also calling Cripps to be dropped after he was the best performing small on the weekend. Delusional.

Wow 1 week. Omg. And Cripps well only gonna state the obvious that Venables and Petruccelle are better. But I'd rather Waterman out as he can't kick a ball to save himself. He gets in good positions but is a turn over king.

Channel 7 news are reporting Kennedy and Lecras are a fair chance.

Re-Barrass a tight back doesn't last this long. It would be nice if the club wouldnt lie to fans.
if he has a back problem this bad hed likely have to retire def something else is going on

Out: Jetta (Please does SFA), Mcinnes (Can we all agree he is not up to it), Ryan (has to go back to the WAFL), Nic Nat (needs a spell)
In: Petracellue, Sheed, Lecca, Barras

Go with one Ruck, Gov to play forward?

How Jetta is still in the team just shocks me seeing him live yesterday at the game he is an absolute joke so lazy..
I swear in the last quarter when then was 10 points in it he stopped and watched a crows players waltz past him did not bother to tackle bump or anything he need to go NOW

I'd bring in Lecras and hopefully Barrass.

Ryan could be dropped, Rioli has seemed to play worse since Ryan has come back (although his could be coincidental due to JD and JK missing).

I wouldn't bring in Sheed into a team containing Redden and Hutchings, plus I'm keen to see Ainsworth deliver, he's quality moving through traffic and didn't panic like some senior boys. He also is not afraid to bust a gut trying to tackle.
Prefer Sheed if in form to Hutchings any day.

Where is his pain - if in the lower region can last month's as I have had this. The funny thing it disappeared as quick as it came but I went through many months of discomfort in the interim. How did Barrass injure his back - does anybody know?

What happens if the one ruck should get injured? With our present injuries can't afford to go in with just 1 ruck IMO. Either Vardy comes in & gives Nic a spell or we persevere with both Nic & Lycett for the time being.

If neither JK nor JD get up for next week then I think it’s time for Mallen to get a run. We’ve seen enough of McInnes to know that he’s not AFL quality. We now need to see if Matty Allen is worth persevering with in 2019 and beyond or whether we just delist or see if we can trade to Port/Crows for some late picks or pick upgrades.

I know it’s a totally different kettle of fish to AFL but watching his U18’s highlights he looks like a great leading forward option with a great left peg. Surely worth a shot.

If he isn’t going to get a game with our two front line KPF’s out injured then what is the point?
