Given how you spell "kebab" you probably would have used our pick on Lachlan Fogarty anyway.

He’s in the side, how about we support the young man?
Remember that next week when Cox is named at full forward. Why are some players so protected? I don't recall Coxy getting the same support after one shocker. Blair is another openly targeted and rarely defended.

Silly comment.
You’re right, I did think your comment was silly.
Good that you acknowledge it.
Forgiven.

I was too polite to say your comment was silly.

:D

Closer this Games comes more I am thinking we might cause a Huge Upset.

No Idea why I have this Feeling
I've had a similar feeling actually. Bit like the first Geelong game last year, the Collingwood world was meant to implode that day and we won comfortably. Bring it home Saturday boys!

Happy with the changes too, Browny was a bit stiff to miss last week so glad he gets in instead of going back to VFL. Shaz polarises definitely, but I'm still glass half full with him and hope he can hold his spot for an extended run

Giants by 81 points. I have a feeling about this too.... and it isn't pretty.

Scully back for GWS, so they have a v strong outfit.

If the Giants want to put on a show & remind Taylor & Treloar what they are missing out on, its going to get v ugly.

Howe, Moore, Pendles, Steele, Grundy & Treloar the only players we have that would squeeze into their best 22.

Blair is another openly targeted and rarely defended.
I will defend Blair. He's a rover, not a forward pocket. If he's ever picked in the forward pocket, we'd be just as foolish as the selectors to think he'll have a good game.

We have a big issue with failing to draft players well suited for specialised positions, instead tending to try to "manufacture" role players. Unfortunately, this doesn't work, especially with forwards.

Blair won't get picked in the midfield because he's not amongst our best midfielders. Cox won't get picked in the ruck because he's not our best ruckman, and Mayne clearly isn't what we're after in a forward. No surprise when these players have a good game playing in a more natural, or easier position in the VFL. This is a recruiting issue, and not the fault of the player being asked to play out of position.

The dumbest thing of all, is assuming we had our forward needs covered after we surprised Melbourne last year, resulting in us again ignoring the desperate need for a key forward.

We did not Pick him in the Draft and Don't have to Make a Bloody Song and Dance about it.

We Picked Stephenson and looks Pretty Good.

How would Fogarty go anyway with Crap Delivery
Fogarty fills a need at the Pies. And I like what I have seen tonight. We are allowed to reflect critically on drafting. Stephenson had better be good!

I’d say the same for

On another note. Painful watching Seedsman play so solidly for Adelaide. Not a star but the kind of player we need.pace, run, good skills.

I don't want prima donnas like Seedsman or Williams in a Pies jumper.

Good luck to them all the same.
