No changes. Let the young ones get another round under their belt.

Keep crozier in. We need anyone that could possibly thread a ball for a goal.

Hmmm Maybe Yarran for ballas. Isn't such a bad idea...

Pretty sure Crozier deserves more than 1 more chance. He was one of our best last week, you want to drop him after 1 quiet game despite him being young and one of the best kicks on our list. Don't really know what to say.
Pretty sure hes not one of our best kicks anymore. One of our best last week? LOL! He butchered most of his chances, everyone else was that shit it made his game actually look good. One quiet game? Surely you kid, blokes done jack all for two years and should be trade bait if he doesn't do something this year.

So you didn't watch last week, fair enough.

Keep in mind though, Bennell played 3/4 of a nab and a WAFL match and Ross wasn't planning on playing him. No need to rush Yarran in at all, let him play another game or two, even three at WAFL first. Unless Ballas is injured, I have many doubts Ross will actually drop him anytime soon, though he should.

So you think Crozier has been good for the past two years? Oh you're blind, carry on.

I think he's been decent enough for someone who's played as the sub for most of his career, yes.

You must have low expectations of a massively underachieving player.
Ballas has play 100 more games than Crozier and he was equally as rubbish. Crozier had a good game last week and a below average one this week (Still kicked a goal which Ballas didn't manage to do). Crozier is still inexperienced and will be inconsistent.

Ballas should be first on the chopping block.

As much as I love the little fella, he has not been up to standard for a while now. He has lost that aggressive pest aspect of his game. I remember him regularly creating goals from running down defenders. Cannot recall him doing that in years. I guess once Yarran has some fitness I would like to see him come in for Ballas. Needs some time to sort himself out.

Mrs just showed me a picture of the back of Ballas leg on whatever social media rubbish she's on.

Pretty serious bruise. No wonder he's down on output.

Why are we playing him then? He wasn't worth a spot yesterday, and last week he gave away a cheap free kick to the free kick magnet, Murphy. He needs a rest and then some time at Peel to get his mojo back.

Never thought he nor Neale would be playing this week - I reckon Ballas needs a weeks rest in general to reset.

The only player I think could be dropped is Sheridan; I feel that a lot of youngster coming into the side have showed a lot more potential then he has. Perhaps it's because he's being played out of position? I see him as more of a hard-running outside-mid, and it's where he's made the most damage before.

Maybe Ibbo to replace him to provide some stability in defence.

Clarke was good?
He had nine ******* touches. Dude has been kissed on the dick with the Sando injury. Mobile my arse.
Yeah, another underwhelming performance from Clarke. Griffen hardly acquitted himself though.

What's annoying is that both of them only had 59% time on ground. Which either means they just aren't fit enough or Ross thinks it's a liability to have both on ground at the same time.

I'm guessing it's the latter. I would prefer us to make one of Clarke/Griff ruck 85% of the game and get a chop out from a part-timer who at least might offer us something around the ground.

Pearce needs to be kept down back so our options are Tabs/Smith or Apeness when fit.

On another thread, someone suggested playing Tanner and Tabs as KPFs and Pav as third tall. I added that Tanner can then give a chop out in the ruck and we go in with only 1 ruckman. That is a structure I really like. Who knows what Tanner and Tabs can produce, but they get the guidance from Pav for the rest of the year, and the chance to develop some chemistry. Apeness can get a go later in the year with the lesser performing of Tabs and Tanner spending some time at Peel.

It allows Mayne to go back to Peel and try and get some goal kicking happening with the pressure off.

I think they'll persevere with the Clarke/Griff combo until Apeness is ready which could coincide with Sandy back so we could see a double change.

Anyone think Mayne will be played regardless of form? To drop him, may drop his trade value? Or am I reading too much into this..
