One danger here is that the desire to make statements will override the fact we must win this game. We MUST win this game! We can potentially improve this team significantly down the journey but its all over if we don't bank a top four spot.

Lobb a big out for GWS

Johnson also out but his form hasn't been so great, still a wily old campaigner though

Giants really have been smashed by injuries this year and is probably the main thing stopping them from being clear premiership favourites

so looks like we can go with two talls down back this weekend.

I usually agree with you but to me Bennell was an experienced player who just never quite came on. He frequently panicked and showed little composure when pressured. He did do a few good evasive runs but towards the end he just played pretty poorly and had been in and out of the side for good reason

Thats ok if you dont agree, but to me if you draft a guy who has been in a certain position his whole life and then play him out of position for most of his career at your club, then its understandable he may not be what you wanted him to be. By the same token, you have to give him more than one game after switching him back to his preferred role before you dump him, especially when your forwards are getting no opportunities coz your mids are getting slaughtered.

What can I say. I just pass on the info I get. Sometimes it's right sometimes not. I've just asked WCE Twitter if Parto and Venables are close to playing so let's see what i get.

Guessing you'll get donuts.

I'd love for Tunbridge to come in with a very bad attitude and a point to prove.

Gee Allen went from "soreness" to out for 5-6 weeks rather quickly

That's shit news

Granted, Sheed is a pretty good kick. I just don't think people realise how good Priddis has been . He has carried the midfield pretty much unassisted for years. Now that he is older/slower and possibly restricted from injury the players who should be standing up are being shown up ! Yes, Priddis isn't a match winner, but he hasn't had anyone other than Shuey (who was almost disgraceful against the Dons) to lighten the load.
Does anybody have any thoughts as to why Shuey has been so quiet the last 2 weeks - is he carrying an injury of some sort, or is he being tagged out of the game, or anything else?

Apparently Simmo flagged up to 6 changes on the couch last night. Anyone want to take bets? I've got

IN: Nelson, Partington, Petrie, Hill, Hutchings, Mackenzie
OUT: Wellingham, Redden, McInnes, LeCras, Mutimer, Butler

Not that I think that Mutimer and McInnes deserve to be outs, but past history suggests this is the type of thing the selection committee would do. And I bet they aren't all ommissions and will have an 'injury' attached to most. Or they'll be 'managed'.
I'd be surprised if Le Cras gets dropped for a home game.
