McInnes Barrass Hutchings Nelson Hill should all be playing.

Redden Lecras Jetta even Petrie should never play another game in the wings.

The sad thing with Lecras is he was one of my favourite players to put on the jumper and his 2010 year was absolutely sublime.

All the hard work he has put in to help me see him as an eagles legend is being ruined by his current form and plain selfishness.

I know players decline as they get older, but its sad to see a player that was so good in his prime go down like this and still manage a senior game.

We've been frighteningly embarrassing over at the home of footy twice this season and it hurts. Really hurts.

I fully understand what SloppyJoe means. I'm sure he'll cheer the lads on come day as we all will but deep down, underneath it all remains the fact the team has some worrying issues.

Make no mistake if we win tomorrow over the Giants it'll be hard earned because even with their long injury list they're still a very talented side - even with their outs they've still arguably got more talent out there than us (my rough count is 9 top 10 draft picks for them compared to 5 for us but Ochre might be able to correct me on that)

We all want to see a response to last week to see what pride this group has. They have to wait until round 15 before they get a chance to redeem themselves in Melbourne

It's bad enough that the media will dismiss a win tomorrow as flat track bully stuff without supporters doing it

Yeah there are concerns with our efforts in Melbourne but we're still right in the mix for now and a win is still important, especially over a top 4 contender regardless of where it's played

He was a fan favourite for a long time. So much so, that the whole industry recognised his accuracy. He is tarnishing these memories trying to feather his retirement nest. He knows he isn't up to it anymore. He is so desperate for a goal, he will burn all team mates, snap from any angle and yell abuse at anyone who doesn't give him a Joe-the-Goose.

I don't love the team changes but they aren't as bad as some are saying.

Petrie is probably the right move, has more campaigner about him than most in the team.

Barrass out is justified. Really hasn't been great lately and if he wasn't young everyone would have been calling him out like they do LeCras and co. Teach him young he has to be at his best, too late to send a message to some of the old dogs.

WCE won't even make finals if they are relying on those players. At least all of those players are team players and you know they are attempting to play their role.

So they have bought in some pacy players in Hill, Jetta, Nelson and Schofield.

I think the pace is in the wrong area though, I think this puts a heavy reliance on Priddis to find form and do some heavy lifting with Shuey because we haven't really got someone to do the grunt work, I figured maybe Hutchings would be a better in for Redden, with good tackling ability and not too slow to cover space. Perhaps Sheed will need to play inside minutes.

Schofield, if played on Patton really needs to be coming in over the top with the fist, players need to be ready front and centre or Shoey needs to kill the ball, can't expect him to be intercept marking it will have to be the fist. He has awesome closing speed and I'd love it if he kicked an early goal from FB to keep Patton accountable. I think if he gets in a one on one under a high ball though he will be outmuscled if the kick is to advantage side of Patton, he won't move him, not many can. Barrass will be back in the side so pretty happy with this change temporarily.

Petrie in for Fraser I'm not so sure on, I think they offer much of a muchness, Petrie's fitness should be up to scratch as he should have had a lot of run through the legs, I'm going to assume this was based purely on wanting more leadership, as they can't be split on form, if anything Mcinnes is unlucky to be dropped purely on form. Hoping he provides some grunt and keeps to structures, 300 plus games of experience may be handy.

Nelson for Wellingham is a no brainer, he had a run in the WAFL and wasn't great but hopefully the cobwebs are gone and he provides dash and some fight.

Jetta inclusion for Redden, not sure about it. Really want him to do well but won't hold my breath. I hope he hits up some forwards but mostly I just hope he excels in covering space and forcing high kicks, that's essential to the gameplan with Yeo and McGovern. Could even see him rotating with Hill and swapping roles.

Hill in for Mutimer is just selecting the best player in the position, Mutimer can have a rest and he's done really well for someone out of position but Hill will play the role better. Excited to see if Hill, Cripps and Lecras can all click together and provide massive headaches for opposition which will greatly assist Kennedy.

What's with the Lecras and Darling hate? both are good for 2 goals a game most weeks...definitely take them in the side before Hill and Cripps, the game hasn't gone past Lecras quite yet.
Masten should have been replaced and possibly rest Priddis to change the dynamics up.

Keep over rating the team, it's been 3 years of the same shit, the likes of Masten, Hutchings, Redden, Jetta being rotated in and out of the team but nothing different actually happening, these players aren't getting us anywhere.
