Progressively give them a go... like Duggan, sheed, mutineer, barrass, McInnes? Nelson?

We are fighting for top 4, u can't expect just young players to be played.

I am sure the guys in 2s know exactly what they have to do.
You misinterpreted what I was trying to say - I certainly don't agree with bringing in players just because they are young - it has to be on form - it's just that Simmo seems to stick to the same old and in my opinion this week he could have given Karps a go for example. I think some of the players you have listed have been getting games for the best part of 2-3 years with the exception of Mutimer who has only recently got his chance. I'm talking about the players who have been showing a bit who haven't been getting games and have not played yet but it has to be on form.

To win, we'll have to rely heavily on Gov, Yeo and Barrass to dominate the intercept. It's our only streng.... Oh.

You haven't seen GWS's run and handball I suggest. Midfield must stop their run. There are also tough in contests to set up run so Redden doesn't sound as silly as many think.

Its a big challenge, guys you don't impact in the WAFL will be all at sea.

Our hope is that they can play lazy and can play too fancy. many or their injuries are to key defenders as well.
we must get on top defensively midfield and kick well to apply real pressure.

ziad

I've watched a fair bit of GWS this season.

They haven't been half as scary as last season for mine. Yeah they're still a very talented team but something doesn't to be clicking.

I guess we'll see soon enough

Thats partly what worries me. They played pathetically against a very committed tigers. but...
Live they are lazy, but they win through what we lack class

As i said most of their injuries are defenders, I suspect thats why we tried to keep LeCras and look top Petrie to expose their weekness. Their mids we have to live with and out depth and newbies will not stand up. We need to rely on experience and 100% commitment

Their weakness is past their prime talls who should be coaching not playing?

Given our history of like for like team selections, we can expect Mackenzie to come in if Shuey misses.

We can bring in somebody who was not one of emergencies, can't we? If so, bring in Venebles (I understand that he may not be ready for AFL yet but rather him than Redden who is also not AFL ready) for Shuey and play him as a half forward. Hutchings in the midfield.

Who was it again that posted about consecutive games involving Shuey and LeCras? Nice:smirk::thumbsdownemoji:

Very worried about this game.

Go Eagles!

no their weekness is playing kids in defence - expose them with strength and experience -not other kids with less class

sort of simple
They've got Davis, Shaw and Tomlinson back there as the core of their backline who are all pretty experienced, other than that they've got as many kids as any other position on the ground so not sure what makes it a weakness. Looking at their games this year they don't leak goals to big men, if anything it's the opposition's small players that kick goals on them. I think you're just making this "weekness" up.

weakness in terms if their full strength team. They are not a weak team. Their midfield is capable Of stifling good entry into the 50 as you would expect.

Plus Venables looks like Shuey

LeCras needs to have a long stint in the WAFL now. Simpson can then in typical fashion, bring him back in when he is making a statement after another woeful interstate performance.
