I wonder if Duggan is a chance to roll through the midfield.

He's going well in the backline, essentially replacing Sam Butler, but I'm not sure we get maximum value out of him in that role.

Isn't Jetta supposed to be back? Thought Nelson played well but Cole was great, if Jetta is fit he comes in for JN.

Feeling pretty good about our depth, if we need another mid it'd be good to see Ah Chee/Brains in.

Give Jetta another week and get him cherry ripe for Richmond. Same with Sheed.

Out: Shuey

In : Ah chee

Had the same thought.

Possibly... That would allow Jetts to take his spot.... Hmm

Nice incentive for the fellas playing tomorrow

I wonder if we'll have another look at Schofield at some point this year. Probably not against GWS. But I reckon he's still AFL standard and he'll be best 22 in 2019 if McGovern goes.
Mcgovern won't go i know his mate

Hi guys
Just to let you know we have a number of possible ins next week. Reliable inside word though is only Lobb and Cameron are a 50-50 chance to get up.
Josh Kelly?

And?

For the first time perhaps since 2011, I'm not panicking that Shuey is injured. It's a blow no doubt to lose our top clearance mid, but the way Gaff, Redden, Yeo plus the two rucks are playing we are probably the best equipped to play without him since his breakout year.

The fingers are crossed Sheed is able to play next week. Otherwise whoever is more impressive out of Ah Chee and Ainsworth tomorrow earns a debut.

Add parto as well.

I think the top line looks ok, but the quality in rotations has dropped significantly without Shuey. Those guys will need a chop out and we'll possibly have some new faces roll through, probably to lesser effect which is to be expected.

It looked bad, but if we have Lycett and Naitanui pitching in for clearances perhaps it can be papered over for a month. It's a shame it coincides with a tough month of football for the team, but we can still win these games.

Out Shuey, Nelson, Waterman(Rest)
Ins Sheed, Jetta, AhChee
Does Waterman look like he needs a rest? Honest question.

To me that boy looks as hungry and as motivated as ever.

Our need will be midfield strength with Shuey out.

Nobody from Saturday deserves to go. Nelson for Jetta possibly but Nelson had a much better second half and like Sheppard, there were 2 moments that he might like back.

Replacing Shuey is the priority. Sheed if fit is obvious but GWS have some elite runners and only bring Sheed in if he can run out the game. Parto or Ah Chee if one of them kills it on Sunday. Ainsworth if we want another debutant. Would be ok resting our best mid after 3/4 time today.

I would also consider Tom Cole to the midfield. He spent a load of time in U18 as a genuine midfielder and his football IQ and performances this year are now showing why we drafted him.

Maybe no one and the change is Jetta for Shuey.

Dig Dug, Jetta and maybe even Cole to rotate through the middle like Willie did yesterday.
I agree - Duggan's the one for me. Put Jetts back at HB and Duggan to the midfield.

I think they will give sheed and Jetta one more week. Fingers crossed shuey’s inj was a standard hammy, and is only 2-3. Could actually work out ok if thats the case as it will allow his toe to fully heal.

In: Ah Chee
Out: Shuey (Inj)

Sheed and Jetta to come back vs Richmond
