Danger is getting the heavy tags this year. That sums up most of these things about how he hasn't been as good this year.

I think Carl's point is, for everyone bagging Dangerfield, he's obviously still doing pretty well because he's the guy opposition coaches are tagging.
If he was doing as bad as people are saying, Douglas or someone else would be getting tagged instead.
Not sure if he has 6 votes, but he would probably be leading our votes. Whilst his form has been not as consistent as last year (relying more on matchwinning bursts with the injury), it is other players who are not pulling their weight which is the problem. ie. Sauce, Mackay, Vince, Wright. Too many passengers, which is why it has been good the club is trying Kerridge & Lyons.Danger has 6 Brownlow votes. If his form is up, were you bagging him last year for his lack of form? I was - solo.
And why are people shying away from this? If his form is so good then he will start getting tagged. That's what happens.
Good, match-influencing form = opposition attention.
Hes been just about our best and most consistent mid fielder this year. He's a former B&F. The problem is, do you think an opposition coach has ever raised his name as a player that needs to be tagged?
yep, and also that Douglas standing out as playing well is a symptom of the lack of form of the other players. If our guns were up and about and playing to their form last season, then Douglas would merely be a contributor in a good side.
good on Douggie for pulling his weight though until the others are back to form.
