I was dirty on the team for 3 qtrs. Proud of the way they finished and played out the game.
In fairness the umpires were amazing, stopped our forwards kicking goals and ensured our defence was under constant pressure. It wasnt just one either, it was a team effort. A team within a team tonight.

Personally I am not convinced on LJ, to me his game is well suited for sanfl level footy where he can dominate lesser defenders and I think he will struggle to make an impact at AFL level
With Tex out I would use this opportunity to structure a forward line that hasca diverse mix and that can be unpredictable and awkward to match up on, with this in mind I would bring Porpy back in and get him to play that leading forward role close to goal, this is his strength not the rolevthey have been trying to covert him to playing
With Brown injured I would like to see Bling get his chance and a strong performance tonight should give him that opportunity
Lyon also needs to get his opportunity and most probably at Kerridge expense, I know that Kerridgevwas our hard tag this week however he was pants by Judd and got little possessions himself to try and balance out the ledger

I agree Kerridge spot is at risk, Judd used Kerridge as a witches hat today so he was totally ineffective and going the other way Kerridge just could not get involved
It's a tough lesson for the lad but I can't see him being able to do a job on Mitchell

He will learn a lot playing on Mitchell, doesnt have the pace that judd does, does have a good body and Fitness to go with Mitchell. Give him a crack, who else is going to have a go?

No better than Sauce, Dangerfield, Sloane (may be harsh here), Thompson and Wright's games when compared to their talent and ability.
We can blame our secondary players all we want.
The fact of the matter is that we 2-3 and are yet to face a finals side from 2012. We are not 2-3 because of players like Petrenko. We are 2-3 because our midfield has gone to shit and can't get the footy.

3 touches with little to no impact doesn't cut it and it demonstrates the gap between sanfl and afl footy and being 2-3 we can't carry players who ate having NO impact on a game
Re Radar and D-Mac, agree I expect more from both players but again Kerridge's game was far worse then the players you have mentioned
Not to the level they should be but compared to Kerridge they all were far better
If you want to drop Danger, Sloane, Thommo and Wright go ahead.
They arn't playing great footy at the moment, but the players around them arn't helping much. They cant carry a whole side, we need contributors across the ground, not just our 5 best players with the weight of the team on their shoulders.
Kerridge at the moment is our best option to tag Mitchell. Hard at it, fit and can tackle really well. Judd beat him for Pace. Mitchell cant do that.
The difference in a win and loss can be down to the worst 6 players on each team.

Kerridge may have had no effect (he actually did ok in the 2nd quarter as a shutdown player with 7 tackles) , Neither did pets or Henderson.
Reilly and Dmac had effect, they helped Carlton.
Judd was losing Kerridge at the stoppages even before he started to spread and use his pace

They weren't great (though they weren't anywhere near as bad as the mob mentality of BigFooty is painting them). Both were far, far, far, far better than Petrenko.
Kerridge was completely ineffective. Mind you, he should learn from playing on Judd, who gave him a masterclass in how to play the midfield. Hopefully he will be better for the experience. That doesn't alter the fact that he was 100% ineffective tonight.

So players with talent get judged harshly and freeloaders in the forward line are excused. And having a crack at Sloane is laughable. Time to let go of your Petrenko love affair, he is not playing well enough to hold his place in the team, the others you mentioned are.

Reilly had 1 tackle. Trailed his player all day and had efficiency of 65 with 14 uncontested possessions (7 marks as well). What the **** is wrong with him?
Oh Petrenko was at 87% and kicked a goal (something neither of these 2 experienced players could do) with 5 Tackles.
