Totally confused with the Barlow and Dawson outs.

Mickey was on thin ice due to his early performances but now that he has returned to the middle and playing much better he gets omitted. Dawson has not been a problem all year and furthermore we don't replace him with a like????

No problems with Langdon being an in.

I think RTB is taking the pi55 and Barlow and Dawson will be back in the team with Pav next week.

Thank goodness Rioli is not playing.

Acid test - gotta be.

I don't mind the experiment. A bit more run out of the back line. Hawks don't have lots of big forwards so I guess we'll see how Hughes and Ibbo manage.
Now I believe we got a chance, only if Hughes and Ibbo got a good game. Finally unleash the three amigo.

Maybe to do with weather? Meant to rain hard? Dunno

Some chance of light showers but windy (typical of this time of year down there I think). Certainly the ground and conditions don't particularly favour talls .. in our case it doesn't suit mediums or smalls either.

Welcome to the annual Tassie Tank game!! Good to see Langdon in again. Dawson dropped is a surprise...dropped or managed I wonder?

Yeah I'm excited to see how they go as well. A small forward line and a smaller back line is something I've been hoping we'd test out for a while now. Probably not the ideal conditions but hopefully the team gives a red hot go.

Ross was openly upset at our defensive play/positioning in the 2nd 1/4 last week that basically cost us the game. Actually livid is the vibe I got behind his relatively calm exterior. I know Ibbo is prone to get this wrong, maybe Dawson was singled out this week for not holding shape.

Was the writing on the wall for Dawson last week? Wasn't he tried in the Ruck & at Full Fwd against GWS?

I wouldn't read too much in to it. I think they have just chosen speed this week to see how it goes. Out: Pav, Dawson, Barlow. In: Langdon, Clancee, Clarke. Certainly some upgrades in speed and agility there.

Will Dawson be last minute emergency change for another Zac. Got a feeling Rossy will do that.

Nah I think Clarke's getting another go. Ross wanted two rucks this week. Hopefully Clarke brings it like Griff did last week. If Griff and Clarke can ruck well I wouldn't write off our inside mids from doing ok at the stoppages. As much as Clarke probably doesn't deserve it, I can now see why they did it.

I think Barlow was pretty good two weeks ago and the week before that too when Fyfe did his thing, but he was not so flash last Saturday really.

I think Ross has realised Dawson is killing our ball movement. He has been good the last couple of weeks, but he is a one trick pony.

He may be a one trick pony but there are lots playing who have no tricks. Hawks have a smallish forward line but there are many in the team that have been playing very poorly. Surely we could have given Smith or Collins a test game
