In order of likelihood in my opinion:
Collins - Smith - Hannath - Clarke

Fingers crossed for Smith. Don't mind him, although can be frustrating. However freo seem to attract frustrating forwards (Keplar, Waterhouse).
Collins could come in to play against some old team mates or something?
Hannth could come in because he's tall and that's the only reason i can see
Clarke could come in because he's be decent in the past but useless in the last few games, maybe his knee still worrying him?

I don't think Ross concerned , if he want to see what collins or some other
Kid can offer. Can always swing a.pearce back if required.

Has anyone considered we might instead go small in our forward line?

What about focussing on getting Hawthorn on a fast rebound over the back with Ballantyne/Walters/Langdon running on to it and getting their defenders with leg speed. Wet conditions doesn't suit talls anyway and that is how Hawthorn operate ATM.

What day of the week does a rookie have to be upgraded before he can play in the coming weekends game.

Not sure if it's changed, but regs up until couple of years ago stated that a elevation has to be made before team selections are formally supplied to the AFL on Thursday (Friday for Sunday games ISTR).
