What reports?from reports from club website I wouldn't be assuming Harley gets a gig this week - maybe they want to see him on 100% game time (no restrictions) for a couple more weeks before they push him up
It is critical he finishes of the year in either freo or peel without suffering injury setbacks. I'd be happy if he just came into side for last few games and was 100% and then went back and helped peel try and push for a 3rd flag (second from 4 or 5th spot)
Don't know but what I did notice was that our "in the mix" on our website has Harley is the last player on the page and only has a half-assed description of his game for Peel compared to other players. Doesn't read like someone who is on the cusp of selection - more like a footnote. What reports?

Here is a selection of a few from that article:
Harley Bennell
Bennell played his first game for Peel against South Fremantle, collecting a season-high 22 disposals and kicking 1.2.
This is what happens when somebody forgets to do it and asks the 15yo intern to whip something up.Harley Bennell

I thought the Rd 2 atmosphere was amazing - excepting finals, one of the best Dockers games I've ever been to. First game at the new stadium helped but the atmosphere was electric throughout the game. Vs Gold Coast the following week almost as good. But it seems to have got gradually worse and worse since then.
I don't think it's just about Freo's performances. I kind of felt like the stadium was different after those first two games at home. Music turned down perhaps? I don't know what it is but they need to go back and remember what they had in Rd 2 and rediscover some of it imo. Are they responding to some minority whining about it being too _____? I remember in 2015 they'd get the crowd pumped before the ball was even bounced. Why don't they do that anymore? I get that we aren't winning games like we were back then but at home our record still seems good enough to justify it?
Maybe I'm not in the majority but I really don't get the obsession with needing lots of goals for it to be exciting either? Kind of feel like the AFL and media is trying to brainwash people into thinking free flowing football is the best to watch. And I don't want to see stoppage after stoppage or everyone congested around the ball either but I also don't want to watch a game of netball/tennis. I enjoy watching guys use their skills to win the ball and burst out of stoppages far more than the yawn fest set shot goals you see these days. The only goals that get me excited are the ones in general play and a lot of those ironically come from either stoppages or guys running into an open 50 on a fast break because they've broken through the congestionI'm not sure what the answer is but I do find the AFL's scattergun approach based on a myopic pov incredibly amateur.
For once Hackdorn might have had some interesting information in that he said Cox carried a slight calf strain into that game. I really Cox is over it because it is one area of the ground that we can ill afford any injuries.
Nah more hagdorn crap, Cox was only behind hill in sprints for us. It was one of his best work rate games of his career. He suffered from the lack of Jones/Darcy sized player blocking and taking a bigger defender that and our midfield stinking. Second year tall doesn't kick a goal for the first time in a while, this is not the end of the world that hagdorn would like you to believe. For once Hackdorn might have had some interesting information in that he said Cox carried a slight calf strain into that game. These things have been a reliable indicator this season
Probably right.Err - what do journalists have to do with match committee?
Lesson #1 - don't try to read between the lines because these things are not written by people in the know, only a select few people know what is going on with Harley.
Probably right.
Still, I would have thought if Harley was going to play we'd be jazzing it up. If he is playing we are doing quite the opposite.
He was infine form again this morning. Perth public should go for his head as hard as he goes for Ross’s
He loves the terms "toxic culture" whenever talking about Freo
