He went in early but that is not unusual. He completed the first hour and then did a bit of running before heading in . Looked to be moving ok. The part he missed was the match sim which is not unusual for us to do with players coming off a corky mainly becasue they dont risk the contact part of training.

Without Lloyd playing, John's will DEFINITELY play. If it's raining, he doesn't need to mark the ball if there are people like Davey, Welsh, and Monfries at ground level. He just needs to make a contest. That said, he's got a great set of hands. Going to Lucas every time would be too predictable. Laycock is also an option, but many of his goals are the result of a mismatch that occurs when he rests up forward.
