Not sure if anyone watched the footy show last night, but when it came to the Hawthorn v Gold Coast game. They announced the Hawthorn team, talked 60 seconds of crap, and the Gold Coast team was skipped...? Browny made about a 30sec appearance, just got off the airplane and ran onto the set with the credits rolling and jostled Sam Newman over to try get to Lloyd and have a play scuffle.

Browny suggested a charity boxing event against Lloyd at some stage (They have history if those that dont know).

billy spoke about flannagan.. and said this was the first time a team was over 100points in line betting.
noone wants to go on about a team that has those odds..
they hardly talk footy anyway

He was brought on to help lead the 2s. I believe he moved up to the Goldy before he was brought on at the Suns, and the agreement was he would come on as a rookie only to help lead the youngsters.

Needless to say, with all of our injuries, we've had to elevate him and play him in the seniors, something neither he or us expected. Not that he's out of favour. On contraire, he's in the leadership group and the Coaches seem to like him. It's just, playing in the seniors is not the role he was brought on for.

This is their biggest challenge yet as a club to remain respectable in the face of a horrific amount of injuries. The media may go on about Essendon's injuries, but this has really cost the Suns this year. Dixon gone is just the icing on a very unpleasant cake that has been presented to the Gold Coast this year.

Also, us Lions supporters may celebrate the recruiting of Zorko at the expense of the Gold Coast. Despite this, the recruitment of Warnock as a result has been equally important, and I shudder to think of how the Gold Coast would've fared this year without him. I think the right choice was made and is a win-win scenario.

Just have to convince myself to watch this game. The team have my full support and I wish Flanagan all the best in his debut.
