Leno Thomas would be getting closer. Valente would’ve debuted by now had he been fit.

Confusing post. As depth players they are handy. Having to play that many depth players because we have again failed to address our injury issues is the problem.

Midfield you need that tagger type, contested beast to stop theThe point I was trying to make is that they wouldn't make the list of another AFL side..
Even as depth they don't cut the mustard.

That's what I thought they should have done yesterday. Risk Betts getting off the leash but getting smashed (literally) in the midfield was more important to stop.Could quite easily drop Aish back and put Conca as the defensive midfielder
I think you’re close but the numbers don’t quite work as Henry was the sub. You also have two Brayshaw’s and Frederick is missing. In
- Treacy (let’s not expect the world, but Tabs needs help - no brainer)
- Logue (get match fit in AFL, stuff the WAFL. Like Tabs, Cox needs the help)
- Fyfe (if healthy)
- Sturt (will be filthy if he’s not in)
out
- Young (inj)
- Shultz (concussion)
- Meek
- Henry
colyer and Acres on thin ice.
Giro too, offers very little most weeks, though was ok yesterday. Runs a lot for a winger who doesn’t get much of the ball. Poor user too.
Ryan Cox Conca
Wilson Logue Chapman
Cerra Fyfe Brayshaw
Walters Tabs Brayshaw
Switta Treacy sturt
Darcy Mundy Serong
Hughes aish & One of Colyer/Giro/Acres sub
Fyfe, Sturt, Logue, Henry in.
Acres, Schultz, Young, Colyer out.
See how that goes. Fyfe plays his usual fwd/mid game, Sturt and Fyfe fwd helps Tabs, Colyer and Acres are no loss, Logue coming in releases Ryan to play more of his natural game which helps Conca and Wilson as Wilson will need to be used more in transition.
I think it’s too risky to drop a ruckman for a debutant 19yo forward, especially with Tabs the way he is.

I’m not a massive fan of Giro but he mildly impressed me. Is building into it reasonably well for a bloke that has missed the best part of two years. Not surprised he has missed a few targets. Still a depth player for mine but shouldn’t get dropped after that game.
I’d move Acres to sub. He has been average. Hughes needs to pick up his game as does Conca and he can go to the bench. Henry needs a full game and goes to the WAFL.
Ryan Cox Wilson
Aish Logue Chapman
Cerra Fyfe “Giro”
Walters Tabs Brayshaw
Switta Treacy sturt
Darcy Mundy Serong
“Hughes” Frederick Conca “Colyer”
Sub: “Acres”
The players with “” I’d like to see replaced over the coming weeks with others like Tucker, Crowden, Schultz. Young (to replace Hughes when fit) and a spot for Hamling when he is fit.
The likes of Colyer, Acres, Giro and Hughes from what I have seen are depth players. Crowden from what he showed late last year and this pre-season adds some genuine foot skills and tackling pressure. I like Tucker and we really need him to get over his injury issues.
A slight overreaction.
Every club has spuds that get a game each week. Even West Coast played Petruccelle and Jones, who are just awful footballers. You could argue any of the 6 you named are better footballers than either of those 2.
I’d do something like this this week
Ryan Logue Hughes
Aish Cox Chapman
Giro Fyfe Freddy
Walters Treacy Switta
Sturt Taberner Henry
Darcy Serong Brayshaw
Cerra Mundy Conca Wilson
Conca rotates midfield
Meek gets the sarse as does Acres
Young and Schultz out injured
I like that. We need to do some experimenting.Could quite easily drop Aish back and put Conca as the defensive midfielder
