It's like nobody at the club ever had half a glance at the ladder predictor to realise just how important last Saturday's game was to our finals hopes. What a balls up it was to have Paddy sitting out most of that second half, especially in light of the Dixon injury.

If Patrick Ryder is OUT, then Brodie Grundy will slot straight into #2 on my list.

I would take Brodie Grundy even if Ryder is in. Because he will play a quarter at best and then Grundy will run roughshod over Westhoff and Howard. Frampton should not be an emergency, he should have been selected along with Ryder.

I am just about hoping for Ryder to last a quarter only or then it would be just one of Ken's "I told you so" moments. Although even if it is obvious that going into the game with a crock and two non-ruckman was the height of stupidity, Ken will evade it with "you can't coach for injuries" comments.

If we’d won the last showdown and held on last week, Ryder would be one ice to get fit for finals and Frampton would be getting a game this week and next.

He's probably not a first ruck at AFL level IMO I see him more as a forward/2nd ruck he has decent forward craft and is good around the ground for his size.

Of course we could've blooded him in a few roles by now if Hinkley wasn't such a clod

Yeah right, I find it funny media outlets are talking about it, seems something is not right then, as in he and Ken clearly don't like each other or something?

Ken is being a stubborn prick if you ask me, and he knows it, he's sick of being asked about Frampton and the weight of the world is upon him with Ryder's injuries etc. He's backed into a corner and won't be proven wrong - (insert EGO).

I'm waiting for Ryder to go down tomorrow and that will be that. There is something interesting brewing for us I reckon, the fact KT has gone missing has intrigued me too, I would say the administration know this year is about to be an abject failure and it doesn't reflect well on them too.

In regards to Frampton, I would say he's as confused as anyone. You can be a stubborn prick to a point but surely you let obvious logic play out, I'm still hoping one of the smalls comes out for Frampton up forward so him and Ryder can rotate, seems obvious, otherwise I look forward to Ryder running back and forth to the bench for a rest to get injured somewhere in the second.
