Well it makes a mockery of the no risk policy Ken had before.
I believe the "no risk" policy refers to Ken's contract, not the players.

Imagine if the teams he trained actually won things.
I felt for a long time that it was impossible to go a whole season at full intensity and that drop offs were inevitable, but then you look at Richmond and go well, shit..
"They can run more than they think they can..."
Queue another season where people are questioning why we look small, yet flat and unable to run at the same time. The jig was up in 2016.
Burgess is completely overrated for mine. Took the money and ran.
We have a very taxing game plan, we we go sideways backwards and everything we do is like manic. When we actually get a goal I always find my self saying, gees that was hard work.

Good news apparently is, it won't get any worse.
Of course you could say that about Aretha Franklin too.
Too soon?
I'd love a coach that backs young KPF's and Rucks the season is long if you can't find opportunities to get a look at a few with the different matchup situations against various opposition you should probably find a new gig.

So how come SPP hasnt been getting a game?
Pick up an injury? Form?
The reason given was form. He had been down and was running out less game time for three weeks in a row. But I would have thought three weeks was a short time to make a decision, particularly when Ken has given others a lot longer to prove their worth. Seems to go against what Ken says, he wants to give an obviously crocked Ryder every chance to play, even though he may not be able to run out the game and end up being an albatross; but he takes out someone who is an important part of our midfield when in form.So how come SPP hasnt been getting a game?

Have we won a game this year without SPP?

Saw a tweet with Gray walking laps with Ryder? Is he in any doubt also?? Surely an injured Ryder and sore Gray can't both be taken into a game. What you playing at port
It's just so amazing that Ryder would play without at the very least a second ruck in team to help 50/50 , if Grundog is smart he'll run Ryder to injury quick smart.Ryder will definitely take the first bounce, then probably spend the rest of the game on the pine because he's ******* cooked and wearing him down to a ******* nub is apparently better than playing Frampton. If Ryder was a corpse Ken would probably still select him over Frampton.
Polec is touch and go with his "will Gaff go to North instead??" hamstring injury. We'll have to wait and see with this one.
As far as we know both Grays are fit as is Motlop. Expect Robbie to be tip-top, not even cancer has slowed him down in 2018. Star.
As for the game, I'm thinking Port will post a 4 goal lead early, only for us to lose 2-3 key players to injury, possibly within 5 seconds of each other, at which point we go full defensive with Watts manning Cox and Collingwood to have about 10 shots on goal in the last with about 3 going through for goals resulting in a season defining 3-8 point win while Ken tells the media in his post match interview that we'll "get over it" and that our season isn't as dead as the Star Wars franchise.
