Stewart deserves his spot, but what role is he playing? He's been a slutting half back at SANFL level, but I very much doubt he's playing that role at AFL level given Broadbent has come back in and we now have 4 running halfbacks in the side. So he'll either be used as a forward to cover Ryder or maybe a big bodied mid? We really needed to pick a role for him and stick with it a few years back.

Broadbent back in, and we can probably drop the charade that any message was sent by that dropping at all. All we did was lose a good player for a week and served up the same shit. Dropping one player achieves nothing. Absolutely ludicrous that he was dropped.

Happy enough to see Clurey in for Trengove. A tall for a tall! Who'd have thought!

Ryder out and no tall to replace him shits me to tears, but it's true to form for the selection panel I guess.

Sam Grey keeping his spot I don't get at all. He had zero influence. He should have either lost his spot to Neade to help our forward pressure, or a tall forward to fill the hole left by Ryder.

Agree. Put Broadbent in his natural role and move Stewart/Impey/Krak up the field. Broadbent and Pittard are our two best rebounding half backs and we should treat them like they are. Krak is okay, but his fitness is still not up to AFL standard.

Stewy could easily play Broadys role..His game against GWS last year 14 touches in first Qr before he was given a shut down role on Hoskin Elliott..And cut him to 7 touches...I think he will play mid forward ,unless Clurey is getting stitched where he will go back..Krak is the issue because I can't see him any more than the sub his week

srs guys we've got the cattle adding Moore or Young (who people forget couldnt get near it for 2 weeks in a row at this level) is not going to have close to the same impact as these ^ guys playing closer to their actual capability..

-2 weeks ago people were microwaving membership cards cos OShea played ahead of Stewy now he is in nobody is happy
-Clurey will likely play as a mid, will it work who knows but he has earnt his opportunity and Moore would be playing if his brain didnt implode and push an ump so whose fault is that?
