I read "The Free Hit" comment with great interest. I know what i would do with that. It should be printed and placed on the players lockers and on the walls of the change rooms before the game. Maybe that might light a fire in the players not much else seems to at present.

I'd be happier if the players were motivated by pride in their own performance, desire to help their mates and bringing success to their football club.

Unicorn would be easier. Why not ask for a pony too?![]()
Nah there is a horse somewhere, remember.Unicorn would be easier.
Huh.
Andrews: Foot
Beams: Tendonitis
Rockliff - Neural
All potentially overuse weight bearing injuries. Lessened interchange cap combined with more time running on the hard grounds in QLD perhaps?
We haven't really spent much time on the Gabba - certainly not enough to have caused these sorts of issues from overuse. It's the only particularly hard ground.
Nothing there about Rocky possibly missing the remainder of the season. It simply says that his tests may dtermine how long he's out and how to manage him once he's back. Let's not panic or dramatise.BRISBANE Lions prime movers Tom Rockliff and Dayne Beams are undergoing tests on Monday afternoon to determine their fate for the remainder of 2016.
Rockliff is consulting a hamstring specialist in Canberra with Lions head physio Shane Lemcke to determine the route of his recurring problems.
The captain is expected to miss Sunday's match against Melbourne at the MCG, but the club is hopeful of formulating a rehab program to limit his time on the sidelines.
Rockliff has suffered hamstring and calf injuries related to a neural problem in his back, and then suffered a fresh tear against Port Adelaide in round seven.

Woah. I wish. Steady now. You're always the horny one.
I don't know much about our training grounds to be honest. Just a theory since we seem to always have foot injuries which are also a common overuse injury. We haven't really spent much time on the Gabba - certainly not enough to have caused these sorts of issues from overuse. I back Lewy to bounce back. Country boy that's had it tough and knows how to battle it out.I tend to think Taylor gets some bad raps because of his size and playing style when we really don't exploit his strengths but manage to accentuate his weaknesses. I distinctly recall someone kicking to a marking contest in the forward line that consisted of Taylor and two of their tall defenders. Unsurprisingly he lost but gave his best effort. That is so obviously not how to use Taylor. His form hasn't been great but I still don't think he would be first on the chopping block.
Not the worst idea- can take a mark... Fwd or back for mine as he does get tagged to easilyPlaying Rich in the forward line good or bad idea? Seems to get tagged out of games most weeks. Just think he could be a weapon up forward.
