I am going to completely contradict myself here. You wouldn't have to tell Nick twice, I give you that tip for free.
His not in the team because of form, he's the last man standing and the club need to give him a opportunity to determine whether he's delisted this year or we keep him.I've only seen Paine play once this year but he didn't look that good to me!

But seriously now is the time we stand up for that lion on our jumper and the letters on our back. I am not saying go out there and king hit blokes from behind because we are losing or because things arent going our way. But if any opposition player knocks us out, knocks us over and laughs at us. Stand up for yourself. Stand up for the people who do care about your club. If May had of done that 15 years ago to a young jono brown he would have left the ground a very sore boy. Yet we let him walk off the ground without a bruise (not even a ******* corky). Last year he knocked our captain out. Again nothing.
Im hoping the standing up for this club starts thursday night. Leppa knows whats needed. I hope he has the ******* balls to do so.
If that means we send a young matho and robbo to play some hard core old school footy then so be it. Win the ball. Hurt your man. Win the ball. Simple.
You have already written him off. Which is probably fare on what we have seen. I wonder how many thought this of martin before he come busting out of the blocks.Paine isn't a good player. But he is the last man standing and seems to be a good bloke who actually tries. Happy to have him in for a few weeks whilst some of our lazy players (who are just here for the hyper inflated contract) learn to put effort in back in the NEAFL.
It's Paine's last year probably. Only fair we give him a stint in the seniors in his new role as a defender to see if he's worth persisting with (they answer is probably no though).
I was expecting to get shouted down for my post. People think of it as so last century and semi neanderthal.I've noticed this a number of games especially this year and it might have been exacerbated because of seeing Melbourne players not taking any crap from opposing players and just further highlights their improvement let alone Wins and Loses. Maybe they're just not those types of players that we have on our list. Love a couple of 'white line fever' blokes like Robbox2.

I haven't written him off completely - well mostly actually. Much more likely than not he is just a nothing player. Nothing against him personally - very good bloke. Happy for the club to sign him as a permanent reserves captain next year. You have already written him off. Which is probably fare on what we have seen. Only 22. Im not ready to write him off yet. Has value as a rookie even if for next year (unsure of rookie rules).

From where I was sitting he was one of the few actually cracking in on Saturday night. I'd have Rich, Hanley, Bell and Bastinac all in the firing line before him that's for sure.Rich copping a lot of criticism. A bit deserved but the big name I would have as first in line for a lack of effort would be Christensen. Huge downhill skier who only works one way and disappears when the going gets tough. Rich at least has been getting attention. Christensen simply does not care enough to try.
You've seen how the seniors have been playing though, right?
Not the hardest team to break into.
Good way to weed out the pea hearts and guys that don't want to put in the hard yardsKnowing our luck, Leppa will drop a few big names and they'll crack the shits and want a trade at seasons end.
