Palmer in :thumbsu:
Stewart out :thumbsu:
Lobbe in I don't like it but I understand it
Ah Chee out I don't like it but I understand it
O'Shea in
Butcher out

Butcher out isn't surprising, but it should be. He's averaging 12 disposals, 5 marks and 2 goals. Spud delist.

Pretty obvious that O'Shea has come into the team to play on Watts.

Lobbe had to come in. Jacko during the week was pleading for more help as all his huge efforts over the past few months is slowly catching up to him.

Butcher, meh. Not fussed one way or the other.

Stoked for Palmer.
Yep.. They were never gonna whack in two debutantes either so the outrage for O'Shea coming back is funny

*Stewart was putrid last week

HEY GUYZ

Let's go to the footy to see Matthew Lobbe fight for his place in the team, and maybe his FUTURE at the club or even in the AFL

Said no one ever.

I'm so angry. What else we had to look forward to this year was seeing Butcher play (it's all we had this time last year) and they take that last little bit of joy away from us to play the most Boring Inanimate Carbon Rod

So angry

How many weeks of Neade doing Sweet Fanny Adams before he finally got the flick and yet Butcher, one ordinary game and it's

What happens with Lobbe/Trengove when not rucking?

Also, my point was that Stewart deserved to be dropped and doesn't need to be replaced if Trengove is relieved of ruck duties.
in b4 lobbe getting pantsed by gawn in ruck and around ground; cue lobbe to full forward trengove back to ruck Dixon to wing "we needed something different"

Bringing Lobbe is a reasonable move. He'll be better prepared to take on Jacobs in the Showdown with a game under his belt. Jacko can take the most dangerous tall forward and backup Lobbe.

O'Shea for Stewart is one borderline AFL player replacing another. Neither would be in the team if Hombsch and Jonas were available.

Butcher shouldn't have been dropped. He deserved to stay in the team after looking the goods two weeks ago.

Changes seem reasonable. OShea/Stewart straight swap. Palmer deserves his chance, Ah Chee down pecking order ATM.
Butcher, I'm a little disappointed with on a personal level, but on the whole it makes sense.

Bassett, you gave me nothing, NOTHING :( ..he said...."trying to get the balance back in our forward line..Trengove is the third tall... O'Shea was good against the Demons last time...and Stewart was good in that he helped with the young ones when needed but we want to give O'Shea another chance... if our leaders don't stand up we'll have to find different ones"

sounds like Stewart is finished and they still haven't got their forward line depth right

O'Shea has played 79 ****ing games of AFL football. In what world does he need 'another chance'? How much more do we need to see?

Pick 8
Key position forward
One of only two fit key position forwards on our list
Has played 31 games
Two weeks removed from a 20 and 4 game.

Pick 52
Half back flanker
One of about 28 half back flankers on our list
Has played 79 games.

Which one of these players needs 'another chance' more?

How? drop a guy that actually is playing well? Yep, makes sense....

We have no ****ing hope developing a key fwd.

Congratulations to Palmer, I hope he goes out there and crushes it.

Commiserations to Butcher, I hope he gets a 2nd chance at another club and comes back and kicks a bag every time he plays us.

I honestly don't know what else to say. He was one of our best against Brisbane, absolutely STARVED of opportunities against Sydney thanks to our limp midfield, and now made the scapegoat against Melbourne.

What the f@#k Ken?

Seriously. What. The. F@#k?!

Heard Bass on the radio. Liked it. He said (in comparison to Sydney's leaders eg Hannebery Jack etc) that if the leaders don't stand up consistently then you find new leaders. No
BS or spin. Music to the ears.
Then why the **** are we YET AGAIN not dropping any leaders? That shit is just adding insulting our intelligence to everything else.

It could have been so simple. Lobbe, Palmer in. Ken gets his ruck. Ah Chee and Stewart out, Trengove back.

Butcher would of got a few thousand through the gates . Would be lucky to get 25k at this point. Really who cares.
Yeah I know several people that are not going now.

i disagree with dropping butcher, no forward would have got a kick last week with the lack of opportunity and terrible delivery from the midfield,
Exactly, it's the pea-hearts in the midfield last week that should cop it.

Dead set have never felt so pissed off at our club.

personally id be dropping Boak, if you were to look at everymatch where the midfield has let us down this year it has been Boak who has gone missing more than anyone,

My biggest gripe with these selections is once again Ken refuses to cut the the rotten head off the fish. Just a normal shuffling of deck chairs and an absolute refusal to drop any of the core group. Our coach is cooked. He has no stones at all and cant make a tough call. Im ****ing done with this shit
