Noticed a thread for this hasnt been done yet.

What will be your changes if any??

For me, I would say NO CHANGES if all players are 100% and Roger/Luke are NOT 100%.

If McPharlin and Roger are fit then they can come in for Drum and ??? Maybe Suban out because he apparently had a bit of a sore groin. No point in risking him.

Drum needs to play for the rest of the season if possible. 15 disposals and 6 marks is not a bad game back from 18 rounds out of the team.

Your right there shouldn't be any outs, but I would chose any of Peake, Van Berlo and that's all I can think of.

I wouldn't bring McPharlin in. That's just me.

Suban out for Hayden - maybe. I would like Roger to return, maybe for Van Berlo also.

I liked VB's game on the weekend. When there was actually a game of football being played in the first quarter I thought he was really important.

The only player I'd consider dropping would be Peake and that's because I don't see any point persisting with him.

If Harvey wants to see what Drum has to offer then it's unlikely he'll be dropped. If McPharlin and/or Hayden are able to come back in Pearce could be in trouble - though he played a pretty good game on the weekend as well. Dodd was good on the weekend as well...

No change.

Perhaps, though he was our worst player by a fair margin.
I completely agree.

I'd prefer Peake to be playing with the Sharks. Walters in for Peake would be my ideal change, but my bet is they'll bring in Hayden and drop Van Berlo. They'll probably drop Drum for McPharlin too, but to be honest Drum's performance on the weekend wasn't much worse than McPharlin's average performances this season.

Very true on Drum. He is a much better kick than McPharlin also. One of his passes inside 50 to a player was very good.
Yeah, there was a bit of criticism that Drum tended towards the first option rather than the best, but too often this year we've waited for the best option to present itself rather than just going when it makes sense. Most of the time the first option is the best option (unless you're Dodd/Thornton).

I don't think Drum's naturally a bad decision maker like Dodd is - he's a bit like Mundy in that his problem is that he doesn't seem to get involved enough. He isnt a bad user of the ball though.

McPharlin's gone backwards majorly this year. I struggle to think how he's maintained a free pass into the team. Send him and Peake to East Freo.

No unforced changes I reckon. McPharlin has hardly set the world on fire this season so a run in the blue and white is indicated. Roger is always slow to come back so unlikely to be available this week. If Suban is out then Walters should get the gig. If anyone is to be dropped it should be Solomon - looks overweight and disinterested and too slow to be part of our team at the moment.

On a smaller ground with a bit of rain about Peake's pace is less of an asset so Walters for Peake makes a lot of sense but won't happen.

On any ground in any conditions Walters in for Peake would make a lot of sense.

Yea I don't know if I want changes, i would like no changes but I think dodger will come back.

Out: van berlo.
In: hayden.

As much as I'd love to see Roger out on the park again, it's probably preferable not to risk any injury in the last few weeks so that he can have a full pre season. It may unfortunately be his last season next year.

OUT
Peake

IN
Walters

Peake got an ok amount of the ball, but often messed up the running he had done with his disposal. Walter's was quiet(ish) by his standards last week, but still currently offers more than Peake. Him being in the forward line may also give JVB a chance to play up the ground a bit more. My bet is though, that Harvs won't change a winning team.

Now that's just plain fantasy
