If Zaharakis is playing a full game I'd consider dropping Merrett.
Not because he deserves to be dropped, just because I don't think young guys make as good subs as experienced players.
Also, because as good as his game was he did still lose his feet and get caught out of position a few times. When he was involved it was great, but I think he can be eased in and out without trying to expose him to too much at one time.
why can't we be?
We could all roam the countryside solving crime, all we'd need is an animal sidekick
I think Melksham could be a good sub. Just play him 80% in the guts for a quarter and a half.

Won't happen, coaches rate him too much. So do I, I think it'd be a waste.
I'd rather our developing players get full games and give the sub to experience.
Gumby, Hurley and Crameri > Gumby & Hurley alone.

If we play an extra tall with that structure, Crameri has to play smallish as a pressure forward, and swing into the midfield on occasion.
Not the worst idea going around.
http://www.essendonfc.com.au/news/2013-03-25/scans-clear-crameri.workstationLive wire Jason Winderlich is expected to take part in his first match of 2013 when he lines up in the club’s VFL practice match against Sandringham on Friday.
The 28-year-old has been training strongly in the last fortnight after being troubled by groin soreness throughout the pre-season.
“Jason is continuing in his return having built up his training program and is looking to play some game time this week in the VFL in preparation for the Round 2 match against Melbourne,” Alessio said.
He might be a good option with the green vest but I feel he will be played in the VFL to regain fitness. Would be harsh to drop Kommer after a very solid debut.Winders a chance? I would have had him ahead of Kommer if fit, but based on Kommer's game on Friday and Winderlich being underdone, it would have to be unlikely you would think.

3 Players > 2 Players.
If you play all three, we have to be willing to loose the small forward (Davey) or a Mid/forward rotation (Merrett/Kommer/Zaka) position.
And we also risk going in too tall.
That's why I believe a swap of Gumby and Crameri should be looked at.
