Not to sure on that. DeBoer is quicker than you think and disciplined. Crowley got a bath last time he played on Boomer due to a lack of speed but I think DeBoer would do as good a job as anyone on our team and would give away less dumb free kicks than the other likely player in Suban.

I can't blame you for looking outside the box because little is working, but for mine, if we went in with that forward line our disaster game against Adelaide (when we kicked 1 goal for the game) would be in danger of being lowered. Also, can't agree that Mora is a massive out because he was never an "in" he is purely a beautiful bonus if his body allows him to play AFL again.

Other than Crozier because of 1 good game who else would you play in the forward line Hannath

Its not great and highlights our lack of forward options but yes Crozier is a better option in attack than Sil or Collins, certainly from a kicking perspective. I understand that you do need some key position forwards, at the moment I would be having A Pearce in there as much as possible (smart enough to at least bring it to ground) and sadly back to Tabs if Pav is rested. I don't think Pav will be rested as it is only round 4 though.

Collins and Sil can be considered for the backline (Sil's kicking for goal will remind everyone of Mayne at the moment).

Hannath is so slow he makes Sandi look like Cyril. Hannath isn't even doing well for Peel.

Bag Hannath all you want. As a ruckman, he is better tan Nothing. I rathe we play Both Griffin, Hannath, as rucks and CHF. Both have unexpectedly kick goals o for us in the past. Got a feeling 1 of these blokes will kick a couple of goals vs North

Bizarre that they keep getting picked. How can we move forward playing guys who are below average each week.

We are 0-3, even if we make the finals we'll scrape in and make hardly any noise. Now's the time to send a message, drop these guys and play the kids. I won't mind if we lose by 40 points this week, just get games into our future players and stop wasting time on 26-28year olds who can't kick straight.

Yet i still take comfort is us bloody young guys and being competitive. Tucker was bloody good in the NAB cup.

I understand how quick De Boer is, he's no slouch, but Boomer would still be far too quick and nimble for him IMO, and I disagree regarding dumb free kicks, Matty's pretty handy in that area too.

You're also right that we don't have many options so he'll probably get the job and I hope you're right that he's up to it.

I'd personally throw Grey in to the deep end and tell him this is his big chance and to stop Boomer whatever it takes. He may also give away a few frees but they won't be dumb ones and at least he'll make Boomer earn everyone of them.

Not a bad side and I would be happy to see this side play North. I doubt if we would be worse off with Collins and Tucker in the side.

Collins seems to be playing some good footy at Peel and is getting some good reports in the media. Quite a mature body too so why not give him a go now?

Don't know much about Tucker but North play a run and stun game so if he lacks a bit of strength at this stage he will be at little risk of getting bashed around unless he gets behind Thomas when he throws his head back.
