I want him to come good, we need him to come good. I just don't think he will come good in the AFL side. He needs to go back to the WAFL and get his kicking and his confidence back.

Luke was quite insightful on 6pr about how the pressure has likely built and built, and also about just how much Ross values effort in selection. But even Luke conceded that something has to give and that it's likely that we'll see new faces in the team soon.

Only hope it's not when it's too late to salvage the season.

I liked his explanation about effort however he dared to go that one logical step further and state that skill and natural flair must take precedence. On that basis you would expect the axe to swing, it's such a shame he's not part of our selection committee... Yet.

I would be 90% confident that if you replace Collins with Tucker then you have the team.
Actual positions MJ in defence, Mayne in his usual spot and Tucker onto the bench.

Reckon Collins needs to wait for injury to get a chance - Silvagni was playing better till his concussion.

I'm just wondering if any of those calling for Collins to come in were at Rushton for the NAB game against Richmond. He looked well out of his depth in that game.
Will be a good'un in time but might be a bit early imho.

He did look out of sorts as he had few minutes on the ground and I think he was swung up forward and down back. I have since been impressed with his games for Peel where his strong marking has been a feature and his kicking isn't too bad either. His Peel peers think he's goes alright too. I don't think they'll promote him just yet unless they run with the unlikely combination of Johnno and A.Pearce in the ruck this week. While RTB has mentioned that he has liked both in despatches, I think he'll take the safe option of Griffin.

Funny you say that. There is a lovely old lady that sits near the dugouts who brings a voodoo doll to the game with her. Whenever the opposition lines up for a shot on goal she lines up the doll with them and stabs the doll in the leg. Always makes me laugh.

Surely we need to bring in 2 talls so that A Pearce can play the full game down back? With Waite, Petrie, Brown in attack and Goldstein drifting forward we can't make do with Ibbo on the 3rd tall.

Suban's last quarter was possibly the worst quarter of footy I've ever seen. On a dry track at Docklands he could easily have a good game this week if selected but in the last quarter with all the momentum running our way he kicked it out on the full twice and laid 2 high tackles. If a player has 4 score assists in a quarter for Fremantle then he's had a massive quarter but to have 4 score assists for the opposition in a quarter......

On a dry track at Docklands he could easily have a good game this week if selected but in the last quarter with all the momentum running our way he kicked it out on the full twice and laid 2 high tackles. Lol. Suban and Spark shouldn't go together. He's a midfielder who barely get disposal, doesn't use the ball well when he does get a touch and also gives away the stupidest free kicks. Him along with Mayne are just momentum breakers Killers. Would be happy if I never see Nick Suban play another game for Freo. Over the bloke.
