I'm a bit worried about our lack of talls down back unless Pearce plays there. Surely taking Collins over as an emergency would have been a good idea. What happens if Dawson or Johnson gets injured in warmup?

Of our extended bench I expect these 3 to miss:

• 8 Nick Suban
• 14 Lachie Weller
• 20 Matt Taberner
• 18 Darcy Tucker
• 9 Matt De Boer
• 38 Jack Hannath
• 21 Michael Barlow

You would think Barlow,DeBoer,Weller and Tabs in. Suban as emergency. Tucker as well as Peel don't play this week.

Also, no Silvagni suggests one of Taberner/Hannath is highly likely to come in to play forward in order to send Alex Pearce back. We'll be needing three tall defenders for Waite/Petrie/Brown. Surely Ibbo/Sutty isn't tasked with one of them?

Taberner in for a midfielder? Croizer can play HF and push Weller into midfield. Just hope none of the youngsters get dropped ahead of many passengers from the past few weeks

If Hannath plays finding form at Peel and then getting selected is out the window because the only reason he would be in the side is because he is tall. His form has been atrocious.

Big Jack is just one of those deceptive type players that whilst they look pretty poo at the lower level when given a go in the AFL can rise to the occasion.

Sorry didn't explain it properly, was meant in relation to other poor players. Yes Mzungu was bad, but must be pretty stiff to be the only one omitted/scapegoat. Mayne, Suttclife and Suban seemed to have gotten a Get-Out-Of-Jail Free ride. Can't keep dropping the usual Mzungu/De Boer and expect results.

Silvagni was in rehab on Wednesday's training presumably still not able to pass the concussion test that kept him out last week.

Yep that would be my guess as well.

If Tucker was getting a game I would of expected to see an interview on the Freo site on how he told his parents etc, Hannath not good enough and surely we need a tall so it has got to be Tabs instead of Suban!!

Pretty ok with that if it turns out that way, kinda feel that it is more likely that Tucker will come in for one of the kids when they start feeling the pinch.

He would be in the side because he's a ruckman and you need one. We only have 2 fit ruckmen on our list and both have been named, it's not that complicated.
