Jesus. Why don't you just run out with a mallet and kneecap him?

Just as a side point, I don't think Aussie rules players would react like an ice skater, there would be 44 players and then the staff trying to punch on with him.

I don't think there are fines for defending yourself from an assault at the MRP.

Substitute Tabs for mayne and I actually think this looks like the best forward line we can put on the park at present.
Wishful thinking that Tabs finally becomes productive? It's probably a coin toss as to whether it is more likely Mayne will get his goal accuracy back or Tabs will start producing above poor output.

In 2015 when we kicked it to Tabs inside 50 we scored just 27% of the time (second worst of all forwards in the AFL). He's young and he is improving but I think we have to be realistic about what he offers us now and what he is capable of offering us. Hope he proves me wrong with this opportunity.

Negatives
- Mayne and Suban survive another week.

Positives
- Crozier in, hopefully the rocket that was inserted last week is still there.
- Ross has backed the 1 ruck 1 pinch hitter policy.
- Hannath isn't in the team (Sorry UFO Tatsu )
- Weller, Langdon both still in the team.
- Mora and Mundy definite into this side when fit, should replace two more soldiers on return.
- Tabs and Alex potentially in the foward line together with Pav.
- Yarran is another week closer to replacing Momentum Killer Mayne.

Side Note
- Griff needs to make up for his pathetic round 1 showing. Not expecting him to keep up with Goldy around the ground but he needs to at least break even in the ruck.

There would also be 35K-odd fans, although it'd probably trigger some kind of emergency response. At least, you'd hope so.

Glad we didn't go the 2 rucks, because none of our current healthy rucks are going to be winning contests v goldstein
Going an extra tall than last week is a good move
Hope Crozier is ready to tear it up!
Would love to see a last minute Out: Mayne/Subes In: Tucker/Grey

That poor security guard who has to escort the offender out will get pelted with stuff, unintentionally.

No argument from me, Tabs is a very average forward. But I repeat what I said, put him in for Mayne and that 6 on paper is the best forward line we can field at present. The fact that our 3 talls are bog average, a great player now too old to lead a forward line, and a backman respectively says it all I guess.
A look at the respective emergencies and you can see where we are at, I reckon Turner and Hansen would be in our 22 quick smart

Would have liked to have seen Suban replaced but Mzungu and Deboer omitted, Crozier given his first run for the year, Weller and Langdon holding their places and Tucker and Grey emergencies we can't really complain about a lack of changes.

Team starting to look significantly different from the past few seasons, now it just needs to see some success.

So ****ing relieved we didn't go two rucks.

It's becoming a bit like that old joke about the Australian cricket side where it's harder to get out of the team than to get in.

I dread to think how badly certain players have to perform to 'play their way out'.

Anyone predict a late change? Ross in his presser today said that the team isn't final until 90 minutes before the bounce of the ball.

Sunday so far away.

Yeah but that cricket team was at least one of the best in history, our football team is playing like absolute shite!

Suban and Mayne remain undroppable. Suban rapidly approaching 150 awful AFL games.
