Surprised that Crameri played in the VFL team,with Hurley and Winderlich out. I suppose we need to hope that miracles happen in the forward line, or Collingwood play their awful game, which happens about every fourth week

Doesn't always work that way - Many cases of guys barely getting a kick in the VFL, and dominating in the AFL next week.

I honestly think today is one of the biggest games of our season. We now find ourselves outside of the top 4, first time for a while. Richmond won, so we have them breathing down our necks and also I'm still yet to be convinced that we are not suffering another end of season fade out.
Whilst we are back on our favorite ground, we are risking Jobe and playing one key forward short, this is a must win game.
I think I'm more nervous today than I was for ANZAC Day.

I just feel empty. Maybe it's the investigation, maybe it's the manner in which we were comprehensively outclassed last week, but I'm just finding it difficult to get up for this one. Hopefully the excitement begins to build up as the hours pass. I actually feel awful saying that.
I know what you mean. It's not just the result last week, but the performance the last few weeks has not been all that crash hot. Players seem down on form compared to earlier in the season and I am worried about this match today. We have had so many changes as well.
Collingwood have named their strongest side for the season. It is going to come down to the midfield. We need that battle to win today and we will need a couple of players to stand up in our forward line. Where are our goals going to come from today? No Crameri, Hurley, Winderlich or Davey. I just have no idea how we will score enough goals today. Sorry for the pessimism, it is just how I see it today.
