Whilst the "outrage" surrounding the Eddie comments on Caro is a load of nonsense IMO, I assume we still won't risk the chance of having fun with the banner this week? Imagine a few references to Collingwood, ice cold and waterboarding. Only happening in the secret Friday man cave with all my neanderthal buddies, I guess.

I'll see what I can do...

Being a young kid, is 5 days enough of a turn around for Langdon to seriously be considered? I would assume that as players have done that for ANZAC day games, Queens birthday games etc it would be ok but with our injury list I just feel the match committee would be a bit more cautious than usual. I'd love to go smaller this game. Shame for Smiths injury, really thought he'd get a decent go of it. Tucker, Weller, Blakely, all need to play on the G to get a feel for it and against a strong crowd will do them a world of good too.

In: Langdon
Out: Smith (inj).

As for banner suggestions:

We'll heave-ho and beat the pies
Then we'll make Eddie really apologise!

When does the team fly out ? Will be interesting to see if Hannath and Langdon are packing for the trip east

So with Mzungu injured the injury list rises to 18 - with 22 on the field and 3 emergencies that leaves...2 people in reserve.

Wow - just wow.
We have had injury lists like this before in 98 and 11 iirc but that was at the end of the season, not halfway through it..

Talk about a team which picks itself.

The 25 man squad this week will literally contain every player we have available.

Bar Yarran who's way underdone and Hurley and Deluca (both rookies coming off injuries).

Don't get me wrong, I like Hannath. I just don't think he's the ideal person to bring into the team playing at MCG and the rain - in both situations, we need run and not height.
Ross was quoted as being flexible to change the team at the last minute, but was keen on playing 2 rucks.
