Langdon to be late in for Hannath. Bookmark it.
I wouldn't be surprised if this happens. We'll probably lose the hit outs anyway, but all their rucks suck at directing their taps so as long as we've got the better clearance players (c'mon down Blakely), our ruckman doesn't really need to be good

As long as Pav plays. I want to see the great man run around in the flesh one last time.

Hi guys, did Tucker and Collins travel?

Cheers.

of course they did, can't play in melbourne if you don't travel...

Our only change this week is Hannath for Smith pending any late injuries or last minute change due to weather.
Langdon, Pearce and Ibbo are emergencies
Out: Smith (inj)
In: Hannath
Nailed it again :D

Just read through the changes thread on the Collingwood board. A lot of talk about how impeding their injuries have been to their success this season and many thinking it'll mean we should win (strange given our circumstances). Despite us having a far longer and more talented injury list to theirs I don't think it is a valid excuse for either club personally.

This game is very winnable for us but we'll need put our trademark pressure on, force mistakes and then capitalise on them. Expecting Barlow to have another good game. Saw a stat that has Suban as our most effective deliverer inside 50 this season so far - liking his new role on the outside and can see him having another good one also. Predicting we might see Tucker being our BYB this week. Not sure it'll be enough for a Rising Star nomination but here's hoping.

Tucker is going to be a good find but for me he is still a good year off before performances like Blakely and weller.

Yeah agreed, but we are fast tracking his development, like any club that is 3-10 should be. Hard to fault the strategy
I still wonder what would have happened if Pearce and Apeness had stayed fit. Would Pav be playing and they be running around with Peel?

You would hope pav would of made his 350 then looked to the future you would think but thankfully we won't have that scenario play out

my football intuition screams ambush by Collingwood and a 10 goal loss. they did beat Geelong at the mcg and we have had a nice draw last 3 weeks and coming off a 6 day break

From a tipping perspective - this game v the pies is one of the tougher ones..
Heard a stat this Arvo on sport FM that only 1 team wine coming off the bye last year.
Injuries aside, We've got momentum and they don't.
I'm not confident but I'm tipping Freo in a close one

Just about every forward entry of Subans hits a target.

Incredible what alternatives exist to bringing a ball to ground and impersonating a dingo on heat.

Its gonna be an old fashioned fist fight. Wet and cold with the game hinging on contested ball and metres gained.

We have to play competitors and no Prima Donnas. Its a slugfest / street fight and to win we really need to replicate our Port performance while maximizing our opportunities in front of goal. It should be a n interesting match up
