Nah apparently our game style isn't designed to win by big margins. Remember that? We're designed to just go bang when we need to and not wasting unnecessary petrol tickets lol. Supporters that spat that dribble out in the earlier stages of the season were simply so blinded by their own bias that they couldn't see the obvious flaws in our game which were so staring at them in the face.

We play a boring brand and now we're boring at selection. Tomlinson should never pull on an afl jumper again. Either should Ben Brown but alas here we are.

Petty out - This is the big one. Been a rock, no one can replace him.

Oliver out - damn thought he would get up.

Bowey out - ok Goody, get off the drugs. Salem been worse.

I can't see us winning this unless we make some major changes to our gameplan. Move it quickly, play with confidence, don't be predictable (e.g. kick outs long and left to Gawn).
 
Hopefully Gawn is better for the first run back last week. Need him to dominate with marks around the ground against Finlayson and Dixon, particularly intercept defending and inside 50. Trac will also need to have a big game in Oliver’s absence.

Bowey’s omission has been coming and Rivers is a solid replacement. Think Dunstan plays but Sparrow takes Oliver’s midfield minutes and Dunstan is the last of the rotations. Similar to earlier in the year which worked well for Sparrow.

Tommo a bit of a concern on the form he’s shown this year.
 
Seems like this constant cycle of Weideman in, Weideman out while BBB keeps his spot.. Weideman was playing his best footy at the start of the year when BBB was out of the team. Personally I hope that if we are struggling in the clearances that Goodwin throws BBB into the middle, no doubt he will have a presence and will be a big body in there with Oliver out

He has not been given the opportunity to be the no 1 Forward . I think he is capable of bringing the ball to ground , every one has made up their mind about him , i think he has more to offer than we have seen .

There was nothing stopping him doing that in the side with Brown. He's played as one of two forwards multiple times and apart from an ok game against Essendon has sucked

Drop Brown , lets see how it works !!. I think some where inside that rubbish Weid , is a forward that do stuff !! . I don't think the way we deliver inside 50 would make anyone look great!! .

That's the point. The way kick inside 50 means it doesn't matter what combo of forwards. Atleast brown might kick one close to the siren if the pressures on.

Now that North game was a cracker. The umpires completely lost control in the first half - there were fights on the field and spotfires breaking out in the stands. I wouldn't want to see that every week, but gee it was something.

Can't recall if we won that or not... I feel like it might have been at the tail end of North's 500-game winning streak against us.

More an on the lead type IIRC. So 2 x Ben Brown's . what could go wrong?
 
The more I think about it and look at the teams, we're gonna lose lol. They'll tag Petracca, so unless Viney has one of his Hawthorn semi/West Coast/Brisbane games, our mids are going to get smoked
