Not giving up on the season, that's silly. As I've said before, I feel our system has been worked out now plus our form isn't great plus we have some bad outs and uninspiring ins.

I don't think Geelong 'worked us out' they were just went harder at the ball and applied the heat all night, every team is capable of doing that it's a pretty basic thing. Geelong also used the corridor very well which is the best way to attack, also every team is capable of doing this the only difference is Geelong have the skills to pull this off more often which is why they are one of the best teams. I don't think Port are as dangerous as Geelong, and will be more prone to turn it over. We should be beating Port but they have been in much better form compared to their first 5 weeks.

There is no other sport on earth where basic "pressure" can decide a game. Literally every fox pundit after the game says they brought the heat or their brand is forward pressure.

Having watches other sports the tactics make up like 5% of the actual game. If you can get 18 guys zoning properly and running hard both ways you've basically won the flag. It's weird that it normally lines up with about 12-15 blokes who have plated 150 games

Melks form has been nothing special at all really in the games ive seen.

This is true but Melk these days isn't a flanker type so it's not like for like. He's role is more chronically out of form and carrying an injury CHF these days.
