Pav will come in...but I am not sure who will come out.

I guess it will be Pav for Smith

Pav for hannath otherwise unchanged i reckon

edit: clarke needs a run at it (hannath probs too but smith deserves a shot at apeness spot)

I understand how important it is for players to get a string of games together in terms of performance. But for me he doesn't deserve to be out there, you can forgive skill errors when a player has been out for an extended period of time, which can be fixed with consecutive games. But my biggest knock on Clarke is his effort, he has the potential to be our second best ruck. Of late he just seems uninterested.

we have noone else, clarke has shown he can be a good first ruck so we need to back him in to regain form. The season is a write off anyway

I hope Smith stays, but it seems like the logical swap.

Clarke and Hannath were both ok. I'd give Clarke his few games, he worked into the game and some of his taps were actually good. Hannath surprisingly gave more around the ground but had no clear taps from what I saw.

It's hard in such a one sided game to have someone drop out.

One of Clarke, Hannath and Smith will need to go and all would be unlucky for various reasons.

Maybe Zac Dawson drops out? Smith plays back?

Tough week at selections

It may not seem like it, but I do see where you are coming from. Hopefully if he plays next week we see a little more intent from him. Like I said skill errors can be forgiven, the step up to AFL from WAFL is huge. But show something, this is the perfect time to make his claim as our next best ruck with Sandi and Griff injured.

Smith deserves to keep his spot.

After two confidence (and percentage) boosters I reckon an improving Port and flailing Collingwood is a good challenge for us and to get a gauge of where we're at.

With the Youth brigade chomping it up I'd really love to see Langdon or Grey get another go - but I'm not sure who comes out.

A different perspective on Suban - the guy can be fairly effective at tackling and has a good track record when it comes to forward 50 entries and the occasional goal. But the HTB stuff is so ridiculous - if it was pure slowness or fumbling that could be partially understood, but the constant raking in and Non-decisions are such momentum killers.

Can't someone just take him down to the training room, force his eyelids open and replay him being a prat with the ball a thousand times until he's physically unable to do it anymore.

Tanner can not come out. He had 4 goal assists today (top). We are idiots if we don't reward that with another game.

Hannath was average, clutching at straws if you think he was OK. Neither ruck men showed anything. Did they take a mark between them?
They both were average. Hannath just showed more. The passage of play where he put on a shepherd, then got the spilled ball and center it to the our player 35 out almost directly in front was good :) And yes, Hannath too a mark.

There was a passage of play where Hannath was chasing a player and it was like watching a lumbering Giraffe.

Dude just doesn't have speed - with more games he might be able to improve his ruck work ans disposal efficiency however.

We know exactly what Clarke can offer though.

The player he was chasing was Merritt.

I think we'll have to play Clarke, Trengrove is too mobile for Hannath.
Smith or Hannath out for Pav

Unchanged team thanks. Give Pav another week's rest.

Pav for Clarke. Hannath showed more. Clarke is done.

His knees are totally shot I reckon.

Ya feel for the guy cos he could have had a really good career but he has had such poor health with those knees for at least 3 seasons know. Looks a lot like a Justin Longmuir situation sadly.
