I think the beauty of this week for both you lot and us is the result will tell a lot for where we are at...

I would have thought you would be expected to win easily and hence the pressure is more on Port. I don't see us as having the backline to in anyway restrict Wingard, Grey and Dixon let alone Schultz if he comes back.

What is everybody's expectation of this game?

In the context of the way this season as panned out and what the club is now trying to salvage I think it is a very important game.

A bad loss will knock the confidence back after two big wins. The youf need to know that they can perform against decent sides as well as the cellar dwellers. An "honourable" loss ( eg <20 pts ) would be ok but a win would be huge IMO.

This is a winnable game imo, would be disappointed if we lose

Think we can win. Ballas and Mayne are up and about and that really helps the team in terms of pressure around forward 50 as well as goals which we haven't seen many of from both of them. Pav coming back to help Tabs is another bonus. Dawson on Dixon as well as Barlow vs Grey will be the key match ups. If Zac can limit Dixon to 3 or below goals then it's possible.

Sorry but god help us if that eventuates. Think Grey is far to quick for Mick, you need to pick a slower task such as Rich and Zark in the last two games. Wont happen, but I would like to see Grey on Grey.

Brady on Wingard...did the job last year...
Dawson on Dixon...
Outside the box...maybe try Croz on Robbie Gray. Reckon he'd go well contesting in the air and 1on1, and bloody hell, a win here would solidify his move to the backline which has been going great guns :)

The manner in which we're winning is very encouraging. An our biggest weakness at the moment is our ruck.
the problem I fear may be the case is our game plan shreds weaker opposition but is easily picked apart by better teams who apply pressure, can't wait to see us play a full game out against a decent team.

Out of all the footsoldiers suban look like the most consistent , whether is his rugby style busting out the block or his celebration after a goal , just keep him in if he got no injuries concern.

What do you reckon the match up for Westoff will be Dawson will take Dixon don't think Collins has the tank, I can't think of any other option besides Tanner.

I think Trengrove and Howard are doing most of the ruck work and I think Trengrove is spending time forward so he'd most likely be Sams man.

I reckon Trengove will be our 1st ruck with Howard up forward as well as being the 2nd ruck. Westhoff will probs roam around the ground as a spare man like he normally does. If Howards tank goes on empty you'll see Westhoff helping Trengove.

This is where we are going to upset a few teams' finals aspirations from hereon in.
Over on our board we are saying West Coast are the team we think could possibly drop out of the 8.

If we lose to you guys this weekend then West Coast may be finals bound. None of us want to see that!

I'll be cheering you guys on later in the year when you play the Eagles. I'm sure if you guys cost them from making the finals it would be sweet.
