Also possibly Pearce:Media suggesting Mayne out for Pav will be the only change.
Mayne out for Pav makes the forward line way way way to top heavy. Two talls and the 2nd ruck is what you can only afgord. Mayne had moved back to his medium-small role and it helps no end. Now if he can just fix those set shot misses.Media suggesting Mayne out for Pav will be the only change.
Who comes in for Pearce? Langdon? Also possibly Pearce:
"FREMANTLE coach Ross Lyon is confident Matthew Pavlich will return for Saturday’s AFL clash with Port Adelaide at Subiaco Oval, but Danyle Pearce and Chris Mayne are in doubt."

I hope so.Who comes in for Pearce? Langdon?
You'd think so wouldn't youWho comes in for Pearce? Langdon?

Stop teasing meYou'd think so wouldn't you
See how accurate the reports are...They may just name them both, but keep emergencies up our sleeves...

ha ha...I mean name Mayne and Pearce, but keep the emergencies handy in case either or both of them dont get upStop teasing me![]()

I feel if that's the case we will be to top heavy with Hannath, Clarke, Taberner, Smith and Pav in the team. Surely one of the rucks have to be dropped against a team that does not even play a recognised ruckman in the team?Media suggesting Mayne out for Pav will be the only change.
Pavlich, Hannath, Clarke, Smith and Taberner isn't a good combination to have. Would go in way too tall. Hannath is probably a better idea. Move Weller in Mayne's role.Media suggesting Mayne out for Pav will be the only change.
I don't think it's the height that's the worry, it's the speed to be able to chase and stop the ball rebounding out of the attacking 50.Pav's not that much taller than Mayne.

Exacerbated by Mayne's absence if that's what's going on.Don't want to be short of run against Port and while Tabs and Smith are tenacious and persistent chasers neither is electric.I feel if that's the case we will be to top heavy with Hannath, Clarke, Taberner, Smith and Pav in the team.
Are you suggesting grey /langdon inI don't think it's the height that's the worry, it's the speed to be able to chase and stop the ball rebounding out of the attacking 50.
Pav's chasing days are long gone![]()
to stop the ball rebounding.Yep, Grey preferably as he is a tackling machineAre you suggesting grey /langdon into stop the ball rebounding.

more likely for them to either kick 5 at the start then it goes goal for goal for the matchI think Port will throw everything at us in a desperate bid to keep their finals aspirations alive and run out relatively comfortable winners. Then again, I thought we'd lose to Brissie so there you go.

It's never been Pav's strong suit, while Clarke and Hannath simply can't do it.
Manic Mayne will be missed if it's true.
more likely for them to either kick 5 at the start then it goes goal for goal for the match
or for it to go goal for goal then they kick 5 in the last on tired legs
these two situations make the story of our year
Hmmm Ross' latest video (shot this morning)... seems like we are going in with Clarke and Hannath, and might drop Tanner (unless injuries)Guess we'll find out within the half hour.
I hope so.The three practised ruck drills against each other . Maybe Tanner stays in as relief ruck man and Jack or Zac out.
