Why would you call it a crap league? The West Perth/East Perth rivalry is huge to their supporters, it actually is a rivalry not a plastic made up one like the Western derby.
And he is a West Perth man through and through and its in your DNA to hate East Perth.

The rivalry may be fiercer but it still pales in comparison of importance with the AFL. He's that into the rivalry with East Perth that he's willing to risk being forcibly retired (putting aside for a second the fact that Simpson seems unwilling to drop him anyway).

If it's true and that's his rationale, then he is an idiot. That being said, I won't believe it until LeCras is actually dropped and then refuses to play for EP, so it's a bit of a moot point until then.

Can we just for once see a lineup with no masten lecras and Prridis. Why is Simmo so stubborn? Let sheed redden, yeo and shuey play in the middle for like 4 games in a row. Apart from tackling, there is nothing Prridis could bring into the middle that others cant match. As good as his tackling is , he is so poor in other areas in the game that I really do not understand his inclusion. By the way, as a non biased Eagles fan, he should have not won Brownlow medal. That was a joke in my opinion.

P.S what the hell happened with naming partington as an emergency and then MIA this week??

Lol, not at all.

The Brownlow is awarded to the player with the most votes, it's not always the best player in the league. He finished four votes in front of the next eligible player. The AFL can't just be like "yeah nah that's not right" and give it to someone else.

He got a chance to travel with the team and be on standby in case someone rolled their ankle in the warmup. That was the point.

All of the ins this week were unavailable due to injury (except for Lycett, who was working his way back into shape after a long term injury).

It's quite annoying that he's healthy and missing two straight weeks of footy, which means that there's no way he's really available for selection next weekend.
