Prediction Changes v Port

As someone else said, I'd be livid if that eventuated. I think Redden might miss instead.

I won't be happy if he misses either. I'd be happier if Nelson replaced him, then at least we'd be replacing yoof with yoof.

I think Wellingham and Cole are fighting for one spot, Redden and LeCras another. Schoey probably no chance.

Ah well, it's disappointing that Kennedy isn't ready to go. I need my dose of the bearded god.

Given there's no EP game and some players (Wellingham, Shepperd, Vardy) are under fitness clouds, we won't really know who's playing until Sunday. Redden shapes as an unlucky out, but will he stay in if it's wet? I hope Cole stays in to do a job on Port's small forwards, as Wellingham is in poor form/fitness. Hutchy surely stays in as tagger, I mean he's been excellent and last week received coaches votes from Simmo.

So you are telling me in that year if ever, Prridis is better than, Gazz, Fyfe( when fit), pendelbury or Josh Kennedy??. Come on now. I am happy he won, but just because he won it does not automatically WARRANT HIM a GRADE STATUS.

I can't really be bothered getting into a Priddis debate I was just poking holes in your statement that he shouldn't have won the Brownlow. The Brownlow isn't a perfect award and as I said it doesn't always go to the right player, but the voting system is just how it is. The player that accumulates the most top-3-on-ground performances generally wins. There is no committee that sits down and says "alright who is the best player in the game".

FWIW, Fyfe wasn't even eligible that year as he was suspended so it might be worth doing some research before returning to this argument.

But that isn't what he said or how it works. It isn't based on the best player as such. If one team had 18 of the best players in the competition, chances are someone from another team would win it as they would be sharing the votes every week. It obviously rewards good games but also consistency/ playing a full season etc.

Schofield is the only obvious one. He can't be in because it would make the side too tall.

I hope Redden is out since he doesn't get enough time in the guts to be useful when Priddis is playing.

Wellingham too can`t see him playing and there`s no need to really play him if he`s still sore ..

Lets continue this later. somewhere else. I am perfectly aware that fyfe was suspended, That still doesn't explain how Prridda polled more than him, regardless of his eligibility.

I thought Redden played alright last week. Hope Priddis is left out again this week

Let's be realistic here, Priddis won't be cut from the extended bench.

Redden may have gone alright but the MC at the moment seems reluctant to play both he and Priddis in the same midfield. Which I agree with.

Priddis straight back in shows Simmo really has NFI. Bringing LeCras back into an extended bench shows that also.

From that extended bench id say Cole Hutchings Schofield Wellingham (though im sure LeCras will be picked)

I guess it depends on what they want Gov to do. If it's just back then i think Lycett will come in. If its forward with maybe some euck then I could see Schoey coming in as Port have a few "talls up forward"

Only changes after one of our best wins should be forced.

Hurn in for Butler is good.

But the others I'm not so sure of. I'm guessing Priddis for Masten. And Lycett but not sure who for if anyone. Will be disappointed if LeCras walks back in.

As it stands it's Hurn in for Butler (inj) and Priddis replacing Masten

The never ending debate on the value of Priddis notwithstanding those changes are reasonable and not melt worthy.

Definitely disappointing that JK misses his 5th game but is rather that than rushing him back

Now we wait to see which, if any, of Lycett, Lecras or Schofield come in and who they replace. Based on the extended bench I think Lecras for Redden is the most probable of the possible changes

Masten being omitted reinforces that it was an error playing him in front of Partington last week.

Priddis wasnt on the extended bench was he? My AFL app says he is named in the guts.

I agree if the MC bring Pridda in Redden has to go out regardless of last week
