Haha good analogy but it would still be called inconsistent.
I hear umps get called inconsistent quite a lot too

For all those that think Lecras will not be playing, Sportbet think differently. They even have him as top Eagle to be first goal scorer. I would not be placing any of my money on this as he hasn't scored a goal since 6th May.
There again, these organisations are very profitable so either suckering us into loving a star of yesteryear or they know what we are fearing and that he will be a starter on Sunday.
Melt away.

Dom Sheed wouldn't be the worst bet at $26. Having said that, I'm the worst footy punter on Earth.
how much is Priddis?Karpany at $21 is a better bet.
The market is to 153% and Lecras is only 10% of that so he's not hugely significant if they have to adjust the market tonight. For all those that think Lecras will not be playing, Sportbet think differently. More about irony than economicsThe market is to 153% and Lecras is only 10% of that so he's not hugely significant if they have to adjust the market tonight.
They probably just look at the 25 and include anyone who would be under a certain price, then adjust when the teams are whittled down.
People give bookies too much credit for how much they know.

Oh right, I knew that...More about irony than economics![]()
The issue I have with these decisions isn't the same issue I had a few weeks ago.
A few weeks ago I would have been able to rationalise these sorts of calls, because the comp is so tight and we're not that far off the pace, I could see how the MC could believe they've got to play the best 22 at all costs instead of playing kids.
Problem is now, it's so clear the best 22 involves plenty of the kids, and they've just brought back players that clearly aren't best 22. It literally doesn't make sense at either angle.

Longmuir:"...they've got the runs on the board".... its only fair![]()
